The Minnesota Loon panders to crazy Uncle Joe Arpaio

Since Governor Goodhair Rick Perry entered the race it has deflated the campaign of the Minnesota Loon, Michele Bachmann. Even her campaign manager Ed Rollins left her campaign "for medical reasons." It made him sick. The Minnesota Loon is desperate for anything to revive her flagging campaign.

So on Wednesday she came to Arizona to pander to crazy Uncle Joe Arpaio for his endorsement. Michele Bachmann meets Arpaio, 'one of my heroes':

Michele Bachmann said she considers Sheriff Joe Arpaio "one of my heroes" in a brief news conference the Republican presidential candidate held before meeting with the 79-year-old sheriff on Wednesday afternoon.

Bachmann said she wants Arpaio's support. "He's a great guy – anyone would want his endorsement."

Riiight. The guy who has been investigated by numerous law enforcement agencies, including the FBI and Department of Justice, for misappropriation of millions of dollars in county funds, for violating the civil rights of those whom he arrests, for racial profiling in "immigration" sweeps, and for working in tandem with Andrew Thomas to bring politically motivated investigations and prosecutions against his political enemies. That's whose endorsement she wants?

When wingnuts get desperate they will pander to anyone, I guess.
