The troubling Tyler Mott

You may recall that a few weeks ago, Teabagger Tyler Mott was caught using eliminationist rhetoric against the president:

After the president’s decision last year to review, and in most cases stop, deportations of illegal immigrants without prior criminal histories, Mott took to his Facebook page to call for Obama’s head, as well as the head of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.

His full post read: “Who the hell does Obama think that he is? His job is to enforce the law. He doesn’t get to arbitrarily decide not to deport people who have been ordered deported. If Obama wants the job of making the law, he needs to back to running for Congress. Or if he wants the job of interpreting the Constitution, then he needs to get appointed to the Supreme Court. Obama and Napolitano should both be hung for treason!”

Mott wanted to lynch an African-American president. He later explained that he was "just joking." Word of advice: African-Americans do not find lynching funny in any context, Mr. Mott.

Tedski at R-Cubed has a few more classic comments from Tyler Mott, the Chair of the Pima County Young Republicans, who has a penchant for shooting off his mouth on social media sites. People Not Politics:

I laughed a bit when I saw that State Senate Candidate Tyler Mott had the slogan “People Not Politics” emblazoned on his signs, as if to imply that he’ll set politics aside to get to that near-mythic “common good that we all agree on.” Yes, because he’s non-partisan or post-partisan or something…and civil…yes…civil discourse. Very important.

If you don’t know, they are a group of RINOs – Republicans-In-Name-Only’s – who want to destroy America. Some of the members of that group are worse than others. Almost all of their members are worse than Democrats. They are not the only RINOs in Congress, but they are the ones who are most open and happiest about being RINOs. McCain, of course, is a member. And so is that f*ing bastard Jim Kolbe. My only hope is that Kolbe goes to jail sometime soon and becomes someone’s you-know-what. I know that he always hit on the 18 year-old incoming freshmen guys in the UA College Republicans, but I’d be surprised if a sick freak like him actually has any lines that he wouldn’t cross.

That’s from Mott’s MySpace blog. Yep, it’s still up. You can find all sorts of fun stuff, like the tyranny of traffic cops and his dislike of Bond films that he regards as “homoerotic.”

In fact, Mott's MySpace blog was a veritable goldmine of crazy quotes. It looks like he has taken down the blog, but not before it was captured. Doh! Here is one of my personal favorites:

Americans are too dumb to be allowed to vote in any election of any kind ever again!

 

We really have no hope anymore and need to overthrow the government now in favor of an oligarchy of elites.  Americans are far, far too stupid to be allowed to vote ever again on anything after Ryan Seacrest mentioned a sad truth about the dumbass "American Idol" Finale.  More than 63 million votes were cast, more than any president in the history of our country has received, Seacrest said.  Americans are dumb, dumb pieces of ….!

Well there you have it, Tyler Mott thinks you are all too stupid to be allowed to vote and he loves him some of that Tea-Publican authoritarian oligarchy — "Charles Koch for you on line one, Mr. Mott."

It's not just Mott's myspace blog either. He likes to comment on articles. It's amazing what you can find when you know how to use "The Google." Check out this selection from a series of comments from this past May regarding a Charlie Mahtesian column at POLITICO, The map of gay marriage – POLITICO.com#comments:

You got that gay people? Y'all just have a serious psychological sexual disorder and you need to get treatment — I'm guessing from one of those "pray the gay away" church counselors since Mr. Mott seems to think that psychiatrists are all committing medical malpractice – and hook up with a good man or woman for some "opposite sex"! Who knew?

"The tyrrany of traffic cops" post on Mott's Myspace blog is very similar to a comment he posted at the blog Roadblock Revelations – Sunset in Southern Arizona:

Well, I'm glad to find other people out here who share my ire in that unconstitutional DUI checkpoints that "law enforcement" has been able to get away with.

And I just had to go through one less than 30 mins ago. Of course I had a trusty copy of the the Constitution on hand to tell the Pima County Sheriff's deputy that he was abusing my 4th Amendment rights against unreasonable search & seizure.

I had not consumed any alcohol but why was it any of his business anyway?

I would have refused to answer his question, but my wife did for me.

Anyway, I will vent on here so that I can start calming down from this American Apartheid that I was just forced to endure.

Hmmm, seems like Tyler Mott has a real problem with cops. Could it be because he had a DUI arrest in Oro Valley on June 1, 2007? Mott plead guilty on December 10, 2007. The record indicates some jail time, and he completed his MADD class on February 22, 2008. He received prrobation which he completed on December 10, 2008. Oro Valley Municipal Court, Case No. M-1045-TR200702528.

Now, Mr. Mott has been anticipating that someone might look up his court records, and his campaign has already posted this http://tylermott.com/lessons_learned.html (snippet):

I have learned a lot from this embarrassing lesson and while I’m still far from perfect, that night did a lot to get me back on the path I always knew I should be on.  I now understand how dangerous what I did was and am grateful that nobody was hurt and that I was not involved in any sort of collision that night. Since then, I have reconnected with my faith; stopped drinking completely; met my wife, Judy; and been promoted to the rank of Sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve.  I also act as the Unit Prevention Leader (UPL) for my Army Reserve Battalion, and I mentor other Soldiers about the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse.

Does Mott mentor them that sobriety checkpoints are "American Apartheid" as he said only 8 months after completing his probation? Now, what's interesting is that this "lessons learned" page does not appear to be linked anywhere on his public campaign web site. http://tylermott.com/. I am guessing that it will be now. 

This "lessons learned" post sounds like a campaign conversion. "It's a miracle!" And it reads as if it was written by someone other than Mr. Mott. It is my understanding that GOP consultant Constantin Querard is working with Tyler Mott's campaign. You may want to check out Laurie Roberts' column at the Arizona Republic, Querard is the 'king kahuna' behind kooks.
