PRESENTED BY THE COALITION FOR SONORAN DESERT PROTECTION
THE WILD & SCENIC FILM FESTIVAL at the Loft Cinema, 3233 E. Speedway, Tucson
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19 AT 6:30PM | ADVANCE TICKETS: $8 • DAY OF: $10
The Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection is proud to once again be hosting The Wild and Scenic Film Festival! This event is a collection of films from the annual festival held each January in Nevada City, CA. Wild & Scenic focuses on films which speak to the environmental concerns and celebrations of our planet.
This event will inspire the people of Tucson to go out and make a positive difference in our community. This year, films include Brilliant Darkness: Horatu in the Night (about the impact of light pollution on fireflies), Delta Dawn (about the recent release of water from the Colorado River into Mexico), Common Ground (a moving account of a diverse community coming together to protect wilderness in Montana), and many more!
We will have music, local conservation organizations tabling, and a fabulous raffle with unique items from local sponsors. We hope you can join us for this memorable and inspiring event! Visit www.sonorandesert.org for more information. (Dir. by Various, 2015, Approximately 120 mins., Not Rated)
