Early Voting begins today, Thursday October 2, 2008.  TODAY BEGINS ELECTION DAY – do not wait, get yourself to an early voting site or vote early by mail and VOTE NOW TO TAKE BACK AMERICA.  I want you to take your family members, your friends and your neighbors with you to vote early.  Leave no voter behind.  This is the most important election of our lifetime.

You can vote today at the Pima County Recorder’s Main Office, 115 N. Church Avenue, in the old Pima County Courthouse (pink building with green tiled dome).  Other early voting sites will open on Monday.

Then I want you to call and volunteer whatever time you can spare to help get out the vote.  Election volunteers are needed and most welcome for a wide variety of positions and duties for get out the vote efforts, poll watchers, election board workers, election auditors, etc.  Please call the Pima County Democratic Party headquarters at (520) 326-3716 for volunteer opportunities.  Also visit the party’s web site at www.pimadems.org for additional election information.
