Traitor Trump Incites Insurrection, His Red Cap Thugs Have Breached The Capitol

Donald Trump’s MAGA red caps, his version of Italian “black shirts” and German “brown shirts” fascist militias, descended on Washington, D.C. for a so-called  “Save America March” rally in Washington. Just yesterday, Trump’s red cap thugs threatened ‘We’re gonna kill Congress’: Trump’s far-right supporters promise violence at today’s DC protests:

Donald Trump’s Dec. 19 tweet promising a “big protest in DC on January 6^th” and calling on supporters to “be there, will be wild” galvanized supporters to mobilize for the day, and for the past 24 hours the president has been using Twitter to talk up his appearance at the rally.

“Washington is being inundated with people who don’t want to see an election victory stolen by emboldened Radical Left Democrats,” Trump wrote on Twitter, repeating the falsehood that Biden’s electoral victory was achieved through fraud. “Our Country has had enough, they won’t take it anymore! We hear you (and love you) from the Oval Office. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Chatter among Trump supporters planning to attend today’s rally on Parler and other social media platforms has bristled with violence and threats to utilize firearms, in defiance of DC’s strict gun laws.

Some Republican officials have stoked the violence, encouraging the temptation among Trump’s supporters to abandon democratic processes and resort to an armed uprising to prevent the peaceful succession of power.

Responding to a federal judge’s New Year’s Day dismissal of a lawsuit aimed at pressuring Pence to overturn the results of the election, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) said in an interview with the conservative network Newsmax: “If bottom line is the court is saying, ‘We’re not going to touch this, you have no remedy,’ basically in effect the ruling would be that you gotta go to the streets and be as violent as antifa and BLM.”

The message hasn’t been lost on Trump’s far-right supporters.

A New York State Proud Boy posting on Parler under the screenname “NineLine” responded ecstatically on Monday, writing, “@RepLouieGohmert says that #Patriots need to be as violent as BLM/Antifa! That’s our go-ahead!!” On Tuesday, he announced, “Arrived in DC safe and sound!”

During a trans-Atlantic video chat on Sunday bringing together English far-right campaigner Tommy Robinson with American Proud Boys Jeremy Bertino and Bill Whicker III, a man identified as “Ralph (The Patriot) Pina” described Pence as the crucial figure in the American election drama.

“It’s going to go down one of two ways,” Pina told Robinson. “Either Pence is going to show himself to be a patriot, and he recognizes the truth of everything going on, right? And he lays it all out in the House and in the Congress on the 6th. However, should Pence prove himself not to be the patriot he needs to be, he’s just now opened the gate for Trump to call up the Insurrection Act and fix it from there. Either way it goes, there’s gonna be civil unrest in this country.”

Pina expressed faith in a rapture-like revelation of evil and corruption that will set the stage for a violent settling of accounts.

“There’s not going to be a President Joe Biden,” Pina insisted. “It’s just not gonna happen…. There’s just way, way too much stuff they’re sitting on, they’re holding on to. They haven’t released a fraction of what is sitting there.

“What I’m hoping for is Trump wins,” Pina continued as the other chat participants let out a peel of laughter, “the leftists lose their minds, and it gave me a reason to finally go out there and test some of the new firepower I’ve acquired in the past couple years.”

“If you’re going to DC expecting it to be peaceful, I wouldn’t bet on it lol,” wrote one Parler user on New Year’s Eve. “I think for anyone who has the balls to do so, you might want to bring some stuff. Things are already fired up now, just wait until more police thugs arrest non-mask wearers over the next few days. Let alone the antifa/BLM retards.”

Another user responded, “I’m going to tell people to prevent the cops from arresting anybody on our side. I’m going to be there.” The second user added, “It’s time for some blue blood.”

That user, whose account has since been taken down, is among Trump supporters who have discussed storming Congress to prevent members from certifying Biden as the president.

“We’re gonna kill Congress,” he wrote. “Sorry to burst your bubble btw not a PB [Proud Boy] but I’m good enough with words I’ll get people to go in there anyways.” In another post, the man who described himself in his Parler profile as a “homeschooled masculine, intellectual militia member” who believes he has a right to own a tank, tagged Bertino in a post in which he advised bringing rifles to shoot at police helicopters and blocking streets with vehicle to create an urban battlefield.

Donald Trump addressed thousands of supporters, including members of far-right groups, at a rally in Washington protesting Wednesday’s meeting of Congress to confirm his election loss to President-elect Joe Biden in November.

Trump, who has spent much of his time since the Nov. 3 election trying to overturn the results, falsely said he won as he spoke on an outdoor stage framing the White House, which Biden is due to move into in two weeks.

Crowds gathered at the “Save America March” wore Trump-approved red baseball caps and cheered as Trump repeated the groundless conspiracy theories that have consumed his final days in office — a period in which coronavirus infections have surged throughout the United States as the pandemic worsens.

“You don’t concede when there’s theft involved,” Trump, a Republican, said after taking the stage following a playlist blasted over loudspeakers of power ballads by Elton John and Phil Collins. “Our country has had enough and we will not take it any more.”

For more than an hour, he aired familiar grievances with the news media and Hillary Clinton, his Democratic rival from the 2016 election, and delighted the crowd by calling Democratic victories the product of what he called “explosions of bullshit.”

“Bullshit! Bullshit! Bullshit!” the crowd chanted in reply. Most were not wearing the face masks urged by health experts to stem the spread of COVID-19, which has killed more than 350,000 Americans.

Angry supporters of President Donald Trump stormed the U.S. Capitol Wednesday, marching through the building, shouting and waving Trump and American flags and forcing a halt to congressional deliberations over challenges to Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory.

Senators were being evacuated. Some House lawmakers tweeted they were sheltering in place in their offices.

Demonstrators fought with Capitol Police and then forced their way into the building, not long after a huge rally near the White House during which Trump egged them on to march to Capitol Hill.

Lawmakers had convened for an extraordinary joint session to confirm the Electoral College results but protests erupted outside the Capitol and government office buildings were being evacuated.

Trump vowed to he would “never concede” and urged the massive crowd to march to the Capitol where hundreds had already gathered under tight security.

“We will never give up,” Trump told his noontime rally.

Pence has a largely ceremonial role, opening the sealed envelopes from the states after they are carried in mahogany boxes used for the occasion, and reading the results aloud. But he was under growing pressure from Trump to overturn the will of the voters and tip the results in the president’s favor, despite having no legal power to affect the outcome.

“Do it Mike, this is a time for extreme courage!” Trump tweeted Wednesday.

But Pence, in a statement shortly before presiding, defied Trump, saying he could not claim “unilateral authority” to reject the electoral votes that make Biden president.

Despite Trump’s repeated claims of voter fraud, election officials and his own former attorney general have said there were no problems on a scale that would change the outcome. All the states have certified their results as fair and accurate, by Republican and Democratic officials alike.

Arizona was the first of several states facing objections from the Republicans as Congress took an alphabetical reading of the election results.

Biden won Arizona by more than 10,000 votes, and eight lawsuits challenging the results have failed. The state’s Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld the dismissal of an election challenge.

The joint session of Congress, required by law, convened before a watchful, restless nation — months after the election, two weeks before the inauguration’s traditional peaceful transfer of power and against the backdrop of a surging COVID-19 pandemic.

Lawmakers were told by Capitol officials to arrive early, due to safety precautions with protesters in Washington. Visitors, who typically fill the galleries to watch landmark proceedings, were not allowed under COVID-19 restrictions.

Throngs of protesters pushed past police who were trying to block them from entering the U.S. Capitol as senators inside debated the certification of the presidential election — and at least a dozen breached security to successfully enter the building, according to sources in the Capitol and D.C. police.

Though police deployed smoke explosives to try to halt crowds, the demonstrators managed to push the police line up the steps on the east side of the Capitol. Then a small group broke into the building.
The Senate stopped its proceedings with Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) interrupted by an aide who said protesters were in the building.

President Trump, who repeatedly urged his supporters gathered on the Ellipse to march to the U.S. Capitol to demand that Congress overturn the election, tweeted a call to “stay peaceful” as some of those supporters broke into the Capitol building.

The House doors also were closed. In a notification, the U.S. Capitol Police said no entry or exit is permitted in the buildings within the Capitol Complex. “Stay away from exterior windows, doors. If outside, seek cover,” police said.

Capitol Police briefly ordered evacuations of two Capitol campus buildings — the Library of Congress James Madison Memorial Building and the Cannon House Office Building, both just across Independence Avenue from the Capitol. Rep. Elaine Luria (D-Va.), whose office is in the Cannon building, tweeted “I just had to evacuate my office because of a pipe bomb reported outside.”

U.S. Capitol Police were unable to hold back throngs outside the building, some of whom pushed their way inside. With the House and Senate on lockdown inside the building, Trump asked for “support” for the police force trying to maintain order.

UPDATE: NBC News adds at least one person was shot inside the Capitol building. The Virginia National Guard has been called out to aid the Capitol Police. U.S. Secret Service, FBI and the Maryland National Guard will support Capitol police as officers attempt to detain and disperse President Donald Trump’s MAGA red cap thugs as they roam the halls of Congress.

UPDATE: NBC News reports “Photo shows GOP Sen. Hawley, who led effort to contest vote, greeting protesters.” This sonuvabitch traitor needs to be arrested today.
