True Insanity

There has been substantial speculation about the mental health of Jared Loughner over the past week, and I have no doubt that his court appointed defense counsel will assert the insanity defense.

But it is headlines like these about the supposedly sane members of our society that is the true insanity:

* Gun sales soar after mass shooting in Tucson

* Arizona lawmakers, governor: No gun, ammo limits after Loughner rampage

It brings to mind Alice Cooper's song "Inmates (We're All Crazy)."
