Trump has announced that the U.S. is at war with the South American country of Venezuela so that the U.S. can steal its oil.

When did Congress authorize that?
It didn’t. Trump has usurped the power of Congress to declare war, and last night labeled the independent nation, founded in 1811, a “foreign terrorist organization.”
- Our warmonger dictator declared a “total and complete blockade” on oil tankers that enter or depart Venezuela.
- “Venezuela is completely surrounded by the largest armada ever assembled in the history of South America,” Trump said. The fleet includes 15,000 military personnel, an aircraft carrier, destroyers, amphibious assault ships, a cruiser, a submarine and air support, including helicopters, tiltrotor Ospreys, and Harrier jet fighters.
- Trump hijacked a 20-year-old oil tanker on December 11, 2025. The Marines and Coast Guard stole $95 million in oil and will pump it out at a U.S. port.
- Since September, Trump has murdered 100 people by sinking 26 vessels they were riding. Trump has not provided any public evidence to support his assertions that the boats struck in September were carrying drugs.
Yet there is no public evidence that the boats posed any danger to the U.S. There’s no public evidence that illegal drugs were involved.
The U.S. has become an outlaw nation. We’re the Cops of the World. And Trump has become like Putin, Saddam, Stalin, Assad, Kim Jong-un and Xi.
Coming soon: military and guerrilla counterattacks

Venezuela’s defense strategy relies on prolonged, asymmetric resistance, using geography, urban areas, and militias to employ hit-and-run tactics against invaders.
Venezuela’s key military and strategic allies are Russia, China, Cuba, and Iran. There’s also North Korea, which would be delighted to furnish soldiers and sailors.
- Foreign nations will seize Carnival and Royal Caribbean passenger cruise ships in the Caribbean and hold the passengers for ransom. Or they can simply murder all the survivors, as Trump is doing.
- Guerrilla attacks will begin against the U.S. cargo, freight, and merchant fleets. The U.S. exports approximately $92.3 billion in goods to the Caribbean. The total value of the U.S. merchant fleet in 2024 is estimated at $99.9 billion.
- There will be hijackings of U.S. flights and terrorist attacks inside the U.S., just as ISIS agents murdered 15 people in Australia on December 15, 2025. Anwar al-Awlaki, a leader in Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, wrote in a 2010 post, “Jihad is becoming as American as apple pie.”
- We’ll see regional destabilization: Increased support for drug trafficking organizations, migration surges, or support for anti-U.S. movements in Latin America.
- Pirates of the Caribbean and privateers have been active in the Caribbean for centuries. Modern-day piracy in the Caribbean remains an active threat. The region recorded 14 armed robbery cases in 2024-2025, with activity concentrated primarily in Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago.
Payback will be in blood, trade, and terror
Trump has dragged the United States into an illegal war for oil, shredding the Constitution, daring Congress to stop him, and daring the world to retaliate.
He has turned American sailors and Marines into pirates, and American foreign policy into a global extortion racket. Every tanker seized, every civilian killed, every blockade imposed without law makes Americans less safe and more despised.
The bill for this madness is coming — in blood, in trade, in terror, and in global blowback — and when it arrives, Trump won’t pay it. The American people will
