Along with his outlandish lies on the historic achievements of the Biden/Harris Administration, Donald Trump’s crusade to do away with all things Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, are resulting in erasures of history that would make Joseph Stalin smile.
The Washington Post, Axios, other media outlets, and political figures have rushed to decry the purging from historical memory the removal of pictures and websites depicting the contributions of women and minority combat veterans such as the Navajo Code Talkers who helped this nation win World War Two.
An earlier attempt to do away with historical videos that described the heroism of the Tuskegee Airmen and Japanese Americans in the Second World War was overturned after public outcry.
Hopefully, the same level of disgust will force the Administration to back off and retreat from this naked attempt to erase history and make inroads to make Trump supporters less informed than they were in 2024.
Unfortunately, the outcry has not yet stopped deletions of photographs of the Tuskegee Airmen and this iconic photo of the raising of the American Flag on Iwo Jima because minority soldiers are in it.
How messed up is this to purge one of the most famous photographs of World War Two because there is a minority soldier in it?

I was referring to the now deleted photograph that the memorial is based on. According to MAGA twisted logic it seems cutting Ira off the memorial would be next.
Imagine being black or Native American, going to war, being shot at, bombed, watching your fellow soldiers get blown into pieces, all knowing you’ll be coming home to a country that doesn’t want you, then to have your sacrifice deleted by Santa Monica Goebbles, a Jewish guy who never served and seems to hate Jews, military service, and the Constitution of the United States of America.
If you voted for the draft dodging convicted rapist and felon Don Trump, f’ you, you do not love your country, you are not a Patriot.
