Tucson Virtual Earth Day 2021

Earth Day is being celebrated on April 22 this year.  The Tucson Children’s Museum is serving as a clearing house of information on what’s happening in our community:

Watch an Earth Day video from Mrs. Green, environmental activist on that website.

“Who would have believed we’d be sharing another Tucson Earth Day Festival online? Luckily, we have a great Earth-focused community that has lots of great ideas and information to share. Then you can take that information out into the world to make it a healthier, greener place to live. Earth Day is April 22, but we’ll be posting things throughout the month as Tucson comes together to virtually celebrate and share all the things they love about Earth and all the ways they work to make it better.”

Happy Earth Day 2021 on April 22. For more info go to www.earthday.org.

  1. Well, it’s Earth Day 2021. I did my part my walking around the neighborhood picking up trash: the ubiquitous disposable face marks (evidence of a pandemic), plastic wrappers, recyclable aluminum cans & plastic bottles. Then I watered the cactus in the backyard, which have been suffering from this prolonged drought. The rest of the grass in our yard is now dead. Happy Earth Day everyone. Please watch this gripping documentary about plastics: https://blogforarizona.net/watch-the-story-of-plastic-film-for-earth-day-2021/
