Update to Demand That White Supremacist Wendy Rogers Resign From Office, Or Recall Her.
Hand her a shovel, she will just keep digging her own political grave.
The Arizona Mirror reports, State Sen. Wendy Rogers appears on antisemitic news show. Again.
Flagstaff Republican Sen. Wendy Rogers appeared again on an online TV network that has made multiple antisemitic remarks.
Rogers tweeted about her appearance on TruNews earlier this week. She was interviewed about the Senate’s review of the Maricopa County election and repeated the debunked claims spread by auditors at the Senate’s recent hearing.
Here is a recent racist tweet from this openly white supremacist. Way to go, LD 6! Aren’t you so proud of yourselves?
I like Indians and I like Redskins. I like Aunt Jemima and I like Uncle Ben. I like Robert E Lee and I like Stonewall Jackson. I don’t like traitors who hate America. Stand up for our culture!
— Wendy Rogers (@WendyRogersAZ) July 23, 2021
Oh, the irony. Confederate generals Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson stood up for the antebellum “Southern culture” of slavery. They hated America enough to commit treason and to wage a civil war against it, resulting in 620,000-750,000 deaths. Lee should have been hung for treason after the war, not celebrated years later with bronze statues. (Jackson was accidentally shot by his own forces at Chancellorsville (1863). Jackson lost his left arm to amputation; weakened by his wounds, he died of pneumonia eight days later).
TruNews has a history of antisemitic rhetoric on the site, the most infamous of which is a piece in which the founder, Rick Wiles, spent an hour and a half saying that “seditious Jews” were “orchestrating” to impeach Trump.
Calling the Jewish people “tyrants.” Wiles has also claimed that the anti-Christ will be a “homosexual Jew.”
This week’s appearance is Rogers’ second on the show. And, like her first appearance in June, she was interviewed by Lauren Witzke.
Witzke is a conspiracy theorist and has echoed white nationalist beliefs herself. During an appearance on the white nationalist podcast No White Guilt, Witzke echoed the “great replacement theory” which was also promoted by Rogers recently.
That idea, popular among white supremacists, holds that white Americans are being replaced by immigrants. It has been seized upon by extremist groups such as the American Identity Movement and Generation Identity.
Witzke told Rogers that the TruNews crew are all “really big fans” and that Rogers was her “favorite state legislator” [I’ll bet she is!] In a tweet about her appearance, Rogers thanked Witzke and her colleagues.
Arizona Mirror reached out to Senate President Karen Fann for comment about Rogers recent appearances as well as her recent comments about the “great replacement theory” but did not get a response. The Mirror also reached out to Rogers asking if she was aware of Witzke and TruNews’ background but did not get a response.
Of course Wendy Rogers was at the “Loserpalooza Summer Tour” on Saturday evening in Phoenix. Really missing those Nuremberg-style campaign rallies with “Dear Leader, are you? It apparently was also Rogers birthday, so a birthday shout out from the “Dear Leader”?
President Trump had kind words. I am just glad to do my duty. Thank you, sir. And thank you to my senate colleagues who are standing firm with us.https://t.co/b9V63icvfp

Nah, just “Dear Leader” thanking her for promoting the Big Lie in Arizona and on the OANN aka Trump TV propaganda network.

Note to this clueless senator: there is no such thing as decertification of an election. A QAnon conspiracy theorists’ fake “fraudit” doesn’t change a thing.
As someone who comes from a family of Navy and Marine Corps veterans, this woman has disgraced the uniform (she shamelessly uses in her campaign materials) and brought dishonor upon the Marine Corps. She should be ashamed, but the woman is a shameless white supremacist. How she ever got into the Marine Corps is beyond me.
Clearly the Department of Defense needs a better screening process to keep white supremacists like her out, and to not waste taxpayer money on training people like her… and Sonny “Gunny” Borrelli, and Christina Bobb from OANN, who is fundraising for the GQP sham”fraudit” and promoting the Big Lie. Jesus Christ, what the hell has gone wrong with the Marine Corps? My relatives are spinning in their graves. And the live ones are all pissed!
Gotta love Gunny Borrelli. #SemperFi @SonnyBorrelli pic.twitter.com/y9y0QFxxnr

Everyone needs to know that this Marine does more than people realize for the Republic. @christina_bobb thank you for all that you are doing. pic.twitter.com/1da9BIHRzR

On Monday, far-right Arizona state Sen. Wendy Rogers posted an attack on vaccination efforts on Twitter, suggesting that advocates of COVID-19 immunization are Satanic. “Trump-loving Arizona GOP state senator calls COVID vaccines ‘the Mark of the Beast’ in unhinged rant”, https://www.rawstory.com/vaccine-mark-of-beast/
“No one should be forced to take the vaccine,” wrote Rogers. “The globalists are practicing for the Mark of the Beast.”
“Globalists” is a slur with deeply anti-Semitic roots that has been increasingly appropriated by many within the Republican Party, including former President Donald Trump.

Why has the Flagstaff newspaper, The Arizona Daily Sun, not editorialized calling on Wendy Rogers to resign or to be removed from office, by recall if necessary? And the Payson Roundup? And the White Mountain Independent?
Is this anti-Semitic white supremacist acceptable to these editorial boards?
