Want a Laugh: Watch “Last Week in the Republican Party” from the Lincoln Project

The Lincoln Project does not disappoint when it comes to creating ads that call out Republicans for their extreme lunacy.

To that end, they have been producing weekly ads under the title “Last Week in the Republican Party.”

Please click below on the latest one from September 21, 2021.

In this latest ad, you see some of the usual suspects of Republican fringe zealotry including the twice impeached, twice popular vote loser Mr. Trump, Georgia Governor Brian wimpy Kemp, Fox Commentator Tucker what happened to you Carlson, Texas Representative Chip Roy, House Trump Enabler Kevin McCarthy, Lousiana Senator John Kennedy, Marjorie Jewish Space Lasers Green, Steve I got a pardon for my crimes Bannon, Comedian Jim not funny Breuer, Texas Lieutenant Know-Nothing Dan Patrick, and Eric Trump.

In it, the members of the former Party of Lincoln are spreading their fecal matter on topics like government spending (you will gag when seeing the clip of McCarthy saying all the Trump Programs were paid for,) COVID 19 vaccinations versus personal freedom, and immigration.

It is funny, sad, and nauseating to see these “people” sprew their litany of lies and ludicrous talking points with no regard for reality or that fact-checkers will call them out for their false misstatements.

If you want to have a good laugh and be reminded why the current repulsive incarnation of the former party of Lincoln needs to be defeated at the polls, watch this ad and others like it that come out in the future.

  1. We all agree with Liza, John Kavanagh.

What is disturbing is that you seem to think the comments section on one blog is the voice of all progressives and if they all don’t post a reply it means they don’t agree.

Dude, you’re sundowning, and I think AZBlueMeanie is living in your head like it’s a free virtual b2b.

  2. Yeah Johnny, I remember you vociferously calling all the collateral damage drone deaths caused by Bush the Lesser and the Vulgar Talking Yam “deplorable”.

  3. President Biden’s handling of the drone situation is deplorable. The fact that right after the attack occurred, he was unable to name that so-called terrorist that he killed was the first yellow flag. The second yellow flag was when it was revealed that the so-called secondary explosions that proved the target was a terrorist were nonexistent. This whole horrible incident suggest that President Biden started out with public relations intentions and ended with tragedy and cover-up.

Had this occurred under President Trump’s watch, the liberal media and this blog would be on fire. Apparently, now Lisa is the only one who gives a damn.

  4. “…the drone strike didn’t kill terrorists but a friendly family…”

This didn’t get much news coverage but I found it very disturbing. There is this belief on the part of our leaders (on both sides) that Americans want IMMEDIATE retribution. So, after the suicide bombing at the Kabul airport, Biden was all, “We’ll hunt you down and kill you etc…”. We may never know why such a tragic mistake was made, sometimes it takes decades to know the truth about these kinds of incidents.

I may be in a minority, but quite frankly, I could do without all that dick swinging.

Given our track record in killing people (over 3 million in Vietnam, for example), one has wonder what value we have placed on human life. In fact, after the Battle of Ia Drang in 1965, the Americans were so pleased with the enemies body count they decided that would be the measure of success for the remainder of the conflict. And there’s that famous quote from General Westmoreland, “The Oriental doesn’t put the same high price on life as the Westerner…”.

But that was a long time ago, right? We’ve learned a lot since then, right?

I wonder how many Americans even think about that Afghan family that was killed “by a tragic mistake.”

Yeah, war is hell. Maybe we should be trying harder to avoid them.

  5. Some partial facts and some racism, a complete lack of context and no hint of history.

Phony John is on his game today.

  6. “Last Week in the Biden Administration” was also noteworthy, what with unreconciled reconciliation, having to admit the drone strike didn’t kill terrorists but a friendly family who was being abandoned by Biden anyway, the southern border bursting open.

    • Come on John. The southern border is not bursting open. Just ask all the people getting deported back to their native countries. Unfortunately, friendly fire gets innocent people. Do you blame the Bush Administration for the likely friendly fire that killed Pat Tillman? As to reconciliation, I am sure a deal will probably be had along with a rise in the debt ceiling because, unlike the former Party of Lincoln, Democrats govern to improve the situation for the people not in the top one percent and move the country forward.
