Want Impeachment? Ditch Nancy.

Seems everyone in Congress is blaming Nancy Pelosi for their inaction on impeachment. Fine. Then let’s get rid of Nancy and elect a Speaker who isn’t afraid to do the will of the people and to use all powers the Constitution grants Congress to stop an out-of-control President. Sign the petition to demand the resignation of Pelosi and demand impeachment of Bush/Cheney.

As Democrats and citizens we mustn’t allow ourselves to become complacent about our principles and or allow personal loyalty or affection for a particular politician stop us from demanding what we know to be right. Our principles are far more important than the career or reputation of any particular representative. We mustn’t allow our elected officials to stymie progress on what is most important to us by trading upon our loyalty or affection for them. Their job is to do our will and the Democrats of America are overwhelmingly in favor of impeachment, not to mention a large plurality of Republicans.

Pelosi wedded her own reputation and credibility to the continuation of this criminal Administration with her declaration that impeachment was "off the table." Time for her to pay the price for that foolish political calculation.
