3 TUSD Governing Board incumbents are running for re-election (Natalie Luna Rose, Dr. Ravi Shah, Sadie Shaw) and their challengers are two political newcomers Esteban Flores and Pilar Acosta Ruiz.
Watch the only TUSD Governing Board forum held by League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson with all these candidates, seeking these 3 non-partisan, volunteer seats in the General Election on Nov. 4, 2024. This forum was held on August 29 at the YWCA of Southern Arizona.
This current board is the most racially diverse one in TUSD history (along with incumbents Jennifer Eckstorm and Val Romero, up for re-election in Nov. 2026. Romero is currently running for District 5 on the Pima County Board of Supervisors).

Vote wisely on or before Nov. 5, 2024.
