Arizona is one of the focal points in this year’s election.
Whether the Grand Canyon State moves forward or backward depends on the people making the decision on what direction they want to take the state and nation.
Voters could:
- Provide the deciding Electoral College Votes for Joe Biden to win the Presidency.
- Help shift the balance of power in the United States Senate by replacing Martha McSally with Mark Kelly.
- Add to the Democratic control of the House of Representatives with victories for Delina DiSanto, Joan Greene, Dr. Hiral Tipirneni, and Michael Muscato in Congressional Districts Four, Five, Six, and Eight.
- Give the Democrats control of the Arizona State Legislature for the first time in generations. Pay attention to the results coming in from Legislative Districts One, Four, Six, Eight, Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen, Fifteen, Seventeen, Eighteen, Twenty, Twenty-One, Twenty Three, Twenty Five, and Twenty Eight.
- Make the Corporation Commission answerable to the people again by electing Shea Stanfield, Anna Tovar, and Bill Mundell.
- Determine the composition of county government leadership across Arizona.
- Approve close to a billion-dollar annual investment in Public Education by passing Invest in Ed- Proposition 208.
- Elect School Board Members and Judges that are committed to the areas they oversee.
- Decide on what happens to the soul of the country.
As Az Blue Meanie and Carolyn Classen have reported, voter turnout in Arizona (and the nation) has broken records in the early voting process, approaching 2016 totals in many states.
This is more impressive considering the rising levels in the second stage of the COVID 19 Pandemic and the Aspiring Duce’s (and his Trump Zone-Fascist cult followers) numerous attempts to intimidate voters and the opposition.
But the election is not over and there is still time, if you have not voted, to make your voice heard.
First, if you mailed in your ballot, please check to make sure it has been received and processed.
If it has not been received by early tomorrow morning, you should plan on turning out at your designated polling location.
If you have not mailed in your ballot, please drop it off at a local drop box or polling location today or tomorrow.
Most importantly, make sure your voice is heard and turn out and vote by tomorrow November 3, 2020. Please be prepared for possible long lines.
Every vote does count. Do not think yours does not.
It is time to stand up and be counted.
Please do your part to move the state forward and save the soul of the country.
Turn out and Vote. Choose for every office and proposition on the ballot.
Please remember:
- The General Election Day is on November 3. 2020. Please see the below graphic for all-important voting dates.
- Please check your voter registration at vote.
- Check-in with the Secretary of State’s office where you live to verify your mail-in ballot was received, processed, verified, and counted.
