While Most are Fixated on Donald Trump’s Hush Payment Trial, the Biden/Harris Administration is Making Life Better for the American People

This is an old story.

When following the news, most are drawn to the stories involving some sort of scandal.

Unfortunately for the country, the 45th occupant of the Oval Office is a perennial tar baby to scandal, whose numerous ethical and legal quandaries (his latest trial featuring the combined improprieties of corruption and sex) draw people’s attention away from other substantive matters that affect the citizens and country as a whole.

While Mr. ‘I killed Roe V Wade’ is facing a hush payment trial, the Biden/Harris Administration has taken a series of executive actions designed to make like easier and better for the American People.

That news organizations are not giving these important moves greater weight in print and on social media is astounding, but not surprising.

Among the moves the Build Back Better Administration has launched over the last couple of weeks has been:

• Requiring minimum qualification standards for staff at nursing homes across the country.
• Expanding the number of workers who can qualify for overtime pay.
• Giving pregnant women time off to get an abortion and making their health care records private.
• Mandating new energy efficiency standards for new home construction.
• Protecting LGBTQ Children in foster care.
• Requiring airlines to pay back customers whose flights were cancelled or delayed over a long period of time.
• Cleaning up the dirty energy grids and replacing them in quicker time to cut down on greenhouse admissions.
• Announcing one billion dollars to go to tribal communities for water cleaning projects.
• Setting new goals for a zero emissions for the freight vehicle sector.

Commenting on the Biden/Harris Administration’s moves to make life better for the American People, Biden for Arizona-Arizona Democratic Coordinated Campaign Manager Sean McEnerney stated:

“Arizonans played a critical role in electing President Biden and Vice President Harris in 2020, and since then they have fought every day to make a difference for our families. Under President Biden, hundreds of thousands of new, good-paying jobs are coming to our state; we’re investing in infrastructure to combat climate change, while lowering health care costs for Arizonans and capping the cost of insulin for seniors. Meanwhile, Trump is focused on division and personal gain for him and his wealthy friends. Trump ripped away women’s freedoms by overturning Roe, and now he wants to go further, banning abortion and attacking birth control nationwide. Four years ago, Arizonans chose President Biden’s promise of freedom and a fair shot for every family over the chaos and dysfunction of Trump, and we’ll do it again this fall.”

While covering Mr. Trump’s legal troubles is important because people need to be reminded, apparently again and again in many cases, that yes, the 45th President was and is a crook, it is also vital for people to be made aware that the current Administration is working hard to move the country forward and lift people up.

That news may not get the circulation or ratings a Hush Payment-Sex Scandal trial gets but that does not mean the mainstream press should not cover it to a similar degree.
