His Big Billionaires First Economic Bill is raising health insurance and utility prices on the nation’s middle and working class while the rich get a tax cut they do not need and will not invest in the country or the American People.
Many will also lose access to food security programs like SNAP.
His tariffs are raising prices on groceries and merchandise inventories like furniture and cars.
His $40 billion dollar bailout to Argentina and plans to import Argentine beef is a slap in the face to the increasingly decimated farmers who supported him in large numbers in all his Presidential Elections.
A government shutdown of his and his Project 2025 MAGA cronies making is forcing people, those laid off and many who are working without pay, onto food lines and wondering how they will pay the rent or their mortgage.
While people suffer to make ends meet, his donors donate hundreds of millions to destroy the East Wing of the White House and build a ballroom only the American Duce wannabe wants.
Even with all the harm Donald Trump and his MAGA allies have done to the financial well being of the Nation’s People and the country, the Felon in Chief still has the gall to ask his Injustice Department to pay him $230 million in American taxpayer monies for their prosecuting him for the crimes that, yes , he did commit on January 6, 2021 and his refusal to turn over classified documents stored (if one can call it that) at Mara Largo.
The attorneys at the Justice Department who are in charge of approving this payment if it is released are his own appointees, one of whom, Todd Blanche, who was his personal lawyer during some of the criminal investigations against him.
Trump has said that he would donate the money from any payout to charity.
Sure.
Believe that like his promises to get Mexico to pay for the wall, I have a health care plan better and cheaper than Obamacare, I will end the wars in Ukraine and Gaza in a day, and I will lower prices on day one.
Even if he does donate to a charity, it will probably go to MAGA loving institutions like Turning Point instead of feeding people or helping them get child care or shelter.
What chutzpah.
What fraud and abuse.
What scum.
Reacting to what Trump is asking his handpicked surrogates at the Injustice Department to do, Arizona Senator Ruben Gallego posted:
Democratic Consultant Dr. Rachel Bitecofer commented:
“I’d say it’s it’s really something that Mr. Trump is going to request this money from DOJ for investigating his plain sight crimes and everybody saw with their own eyes at a time when federal employees aren’t being paid and are standing in food lines, Families on snap will go without food in November, Americans farm, agricultural industry in collapse around us from Trump’s tariffs, and millions are about to see their health premiums double or even triple if the Republican budget is enacted. It just goes to show they don’t worry about optics and that has to make you wonder why?”
Vice President of Matters of State Strategies Matt Grodsky offered:
“I’ll bet $230 million DOJ complies with the request. This administration is corrupt to the core. It’s not just bulldozing our institutions, it’s physically defacing the white house and undermining 250 years of the American experiment.”
It still boggles the mind that the American People, despite the serial lies, the impeachable offenses, the convictions, and track record from Trump I, thought he was a better option than Kamala Harris.
Unfortunately, many of those same supporters are about, as mentioned in an earlier piece, are getting the hosing of a lifetime while Mr. Trump and his Return to the Gilded Age Plutocratic supporters takes their money and laughs at them.
They are about to reap what they sowed.
Hopefully, they will realize the colossal errors they have made and vote these people out, if they still can, in the coming elections the next three years.
