This week’s worst person in Arizona is current Arizona Senator, likely hopeless candidate for Secretary of State, and definitely creepy sex pest, Michelle Ugenti-Rita.
While explaining her inexplicable vote to pointlessly deprive our children of over a billion dollars in school funding, she called public education supporters (mainly teachers) watching from the gallery “educational terrorists”. Never has there been a more ironic case of the pot calling the kettle black.
See the video below:
EDUCATIONAL TERRORISTS
As teachers look on, Senator Ugenti-Rita points at them and calls them “terrorists” who held our children “hostage.” Then votes to defund AZ schools of $1.2 billion dollars. pic.twitter.com/HQIlzVy8ng

She had the nerve to smarmily claim, “Here we are, feeding the beast. More money! More money!” when Arizona’s public schools have just been rated the absolute worst in the nation; having the worst teacher/student ratio, the third-lowest spend per pupil, and the second-lowest teacher pay.
How dare she?!
Who do you think we have to thank for those terribly embarrassing ratings (not to mention such ratings are devastating to our state’s business recruitment…) after decades of the AZGOP starving our schools to kick back massive tax breaks to the wealthiest in Arizona (who are doing just fine without them), and raiding our public education funding to unconstitutionally give vouchers to private schools (regardless of the ridiculous ratiocinations the wholly-partisan and corrupt AZ Supreme Court has engaged in to condone it)? Senator Ugenti-Rita has abetted all of that every step of the way. And then she calls the good citizens and teachers trying to help our children succeed “educational terrorists, who have held our kids hostage”?
For her utter hypocrisy, effrontery, and arrogance she is this week’s worst person in Arizona.
I do have to acknowledge, however, that Michelle has also done Arizona voters a favor: she has made perfectly clear the AZGOP’s hatred for public education and underlined their desire and radical plans to starve and destroy our public schools and replace this century-old institution of American life with financial operators who wish to exploit our children to pocket our tax dollars while doing the minimum possible to actually provide an education to the next generation.

Every time I hear her name I’m reminded of the old joke.
Got any nude pictures of your wife?
No.
Wanna’ buy some?
I have no issue with anyone expressing themselves physically in any way that they and other consenting adults find amusing.
But man I really dislike holier than thou hypocrite creeps.
Also, wow, doing a quick search for some good names for today’s Sharpie screen name turned up so many creeps that it was hard to choose, so I just closed my eyes and pointed to the screen.
The odious Sonny Borrelli echoed the same nonsense about the education industrial complex. A complete embarassment.
