Last night Young Dems of Pima County and UArizona and the Arizona Democratic Party (ADP) came together for a party to celebrate and seriously discuss the role – and disaffection – of younger people in the Democratic Party. A panel of our young Democratic leaders dicussed the problem and possible solutions of how to more strongly engage young voters with our Party.
The discussion is high quality and deals with some often diffult truths about the Party. Well worth a listen to learn about how young voters are feeling about the Democrats.
There is also an interesting bit of news toward the end of the panel discussion from ADP Executive Director about a new hire at ADP (hint: it has to do with $$$). A bit inside baseball, but certainly of interest to our Democratic State Committee Members as they head into the State Meeting in Tucson later today.
