Moderators will be Lorraine Rivera, host of AZPM’s Arizona Week and Joey Fisher, editor-in-chief of The Arizona Daily Wildcat. The 90-minute forum is free and open to the public and will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 5 p.m. UA Students and the public are encouraged to submit questions for the candidates using #OurVoiceOurVote or at ourvoiceourvote@gmail.com.

Eduction Accountability Session
Sunday, September 28, 4:00 p.m.: Education Accountability Session, hosted by the Pima County Interfaith Council, Literacy Connects, and the University of Arizona College of Education, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1300 N. Greasewood Road, Tucson. Candidates for state and local political offices will be asked to tell voters how they will solve the many problems Arizona’s schools face. “An accountability session differs from a forum in that the candidates may not speak on the issues they choose to push,” said Marjie Hrabe, Deaconess at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. “Instead, they will be expected to respond to specific questions of concern to the audience,” she said. Issues to be discussed include school funding, curriculum and the future of Pima Community College. Other discussion issues will address health care, immigration, poverty, economic development and the 2014 county bond for funding an animal care center. Those who have accepted invitations to the accountability session include candidates in Arizona Legislative House District No. 9, Dr. Randall Friese, Rep. Ethan Orr and Rep.
