Apparently the “new normal” is for presidential candidates to announce that they are running in April before an election year. For those of you Ready For Hillary Clinton for President 2016, your wait is almost over.

Having the ink dry on the lease indicates that Clinton’s official announcement will be coming very soon. Federal Election Commission rules state that a candidate has only 15 days between conducting campaign activities and filing the official 2016 paperwork, and the lease signing could start the clock on an official launch.
Tiger Beat’s unnamed “insider source” (of course) did not provide the date on which the lease was inked, but suffice it to say that this puts the deadline by the end of next week.
All the media villagers are currently upset with Team Clinton for not having yet announced exactly when she will announce her campaign launch. As if their world will come to an end if they do not know right now.
Media villagers can’t find their own ass with a map and a flashlight. What two events are on the calendar next week?
April 15 is Tax Day, so that’s not it. The right-wing anti-government anti-tax zealots have pretty much locked down that day for their childish T.E.A. Party histrionics.
So here is a clue media villagers: Tuesday, April 14 is National Equal Pay Day, a day to reflect how far into the current year many women must work to earn as much as their white male counter parts earned in the previous year. Hillary Clinton would be the first female president of the United States, and her presidential campaign will focus heavily on economic issues important to women voters. I would expect a formal press announcement very soon. You can wait media villagers, your world is not coming to an end.

I would welcome a strong Democratic primary, with Martin O’Malley, Bernie Sanders and even Jim Webb. It now appears that Lincoln Chafee may run. Like many, I was hoping that Elizabeth Warren would run.
But I do believe that Hillary may end up as the Democratic nominee and I still don’t understand why you think it’s smart to trash her. I think that simply buys into the current strategy of voter suppression that has brought us to our current state.
If the comment “…she is a war monger and in the hip pocket of Wall Street” was a toss off comment I would hate to see what you really think of her.

Mrs clinton should win election elizabeth warren might win election. Can we take that chance with supreme court nominations? With republiscum in control of congress and white house to dangerous. They would devastate voting rights and minority protections. Republican evilness forces caution.
Kind of brings to mind that old Ben Franklin quote: “Those who would give up liberty for temporary security deserve neither.”
Voting for mrs. clinton bob is not giving up freedom she had a very liberal voting record in the senate. I ss every day the human wreckage republicans cause so I am cautious when I need to be aggressive when I can.
The point I was making was more abstract than you interpreted it. I was not saying a vote for Clinton is giving up liberty. At some point, you need to ask yourself how much your willing to sell out in order to win the next election. When you say she had a liberal voting record in the Senate, you’re rationalizing. You know she’s a war monger and in the hip pocket of Wall Street. The problem I see is that if your strategy is to be half a step to the left of the Republicans in order to maximize your chance of winning the next election, you’re allowing the Republicans to determine where you stand. If you’re at 8, and they want you at 8.5, all they have to do is move to 9.

It appears to most people that Hillary Clinton is the overwhelming choice of Democrats for the presidential nomination. The Democratic Party is much, much better than the Republican Party on almost all of the issues concerning working people in America.
What is your strategy in tearing down Hillary Clinton? How does that improve the lives of Americans?

I don’t know if she’s the overwhelming choice. Seems to me there was a huge effort by Moveon to draft Warren and the PDA still are backing Sanders.
But, if you had your way, she indeed would be the overwhelming choice, given that you don’t think those with opposing views should voice them.
Besides, the point of my comments wasn’t as much to go after Clinton as to challenge the Captain a bit on his logic.
I’d need to see who the third party candidates before I could answer your last question. Are any on the ballot yet? I figured I’d wait until election year to look into that.
