A classic case of psychological projection

This is something that Tea-Publicans have engaged in for decades as a means of confusing low information voters, but the TanMan, Weeper of the House John Boehner, really outdid himself today with a classic case of psychological projection (or "I know you are, but what am I?") with this bit of alternate reality. Boehner: Obama Can’t Stand Up To His Own Party:

Screenshot-6House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) said on Thursday that the reason
so-called fiscal cliff negotiations have stalled is that President Obama
is having some trouble standing up to his own party on entitlement

"I'm convinced the president is unwilling to stand up to his own party," Boehner said at a press conference on Capitol Hill.

Outside of the conservative media entertainment complex "bubble" in which the TanMan resides, it has been widely reported that conservative organizations are lobbying against his "Plan B" proposal which he hopes to bring to a vote today. It has also been widely reported that conservative organizations are lobbying to replace Boehner as Speaker of the House.

We have already established that Boehner is the "Worst. Speaker. Ever." because he is the weakest Speaker of the House in modern history. Boehner cannot control the radical extremists of the Tea Party Caucus in his own party. His irrationality in negotiating the so-called "fiscal cliff" austerity crisis is the direct result of Boehner being more concerned about mollifying these radical extremists to keep his speakership in January than in constructing a genuine budget compromise deal.

It is Boehner who is afraid to stand up to his own party, and this country is paying the price for his cowardice and the radical extremism of the Tea Party.

UPDATE: A timely "seasonal" ad from AFSCME, SEIU and the NEA, based on It's a Wonderful Life. House Speaker John Boehner is the bad guy (Mr. Potter) in this version.
