It was astonishing, in a bad way, to read and watch the Felon in Chief, his enabling Attorney General, and the leader of El Salvador say with straight faces that, despite a 9-0 Supreme Court Ruling, they would not return Kilmar Abrego García, a man wrongly deported from this nation last month.
It was beyond bizarre and farcical that Donald Trump and his Attorney General, Pam Bondi, claimed they could not make El Salvador return Garcia.
As written in a previous article, bullshit.
It was outrageous that the Authoritarian El Salvadorian leader, Nayib Bukele, parroted MAGA talking points that Garcia was a terrorist.
If Garcia was a known terrorist, why was he not already in prison when they deported him?
His only crime was he was a Latino immigrant.
Again, recent reporting from CBS showed that almost 75 percent of the people deported to El Salvador had no criminal records.
The Felon in Chief also made news by stating he was considering on sending violent American criminals to El Salvadoran prisons.
Maybe he could send the 1500 January 6 2021 Domestic Terrorists and Traitors that he pardoned on his first day back in office.
Or maybe he could take a flight there since he was found liable for sexual assault.
With the Musk/Trump/Vance/Bondi Central Fascist Committee thumbing their noses at a unanimous Supreme Court ruling calling on them to facilitate Garcia’s return, this nation is in a Constitutional Crisis.
Talk about an impeachable offense.
Arizona Representative Yassamin Ansari reacted to the Trump-Bukele meeting with this social media post:

Arizona Senator Mark Kelly posted:
“The Supreme Court ruled 9-0 that the administration has to facilitate the return of Abrego Garcia. Our system of government is based on checks and balances and the separation of powers. By not following this unanimous ruling from the highest court in the land, the administration is cracking the foundation of our Democracy.”
No basis. They have a Supreme Court ruling telling them to bring Garcia back.
Kelly is right to say this subversion of our system of Checks and Balances is “a crack on the foundation of our Democracy.”
If people buy Trump and Bondi’s assertion that they can not convince/make the leader of El Salvador return Garcia or any other innocent people being held in those prisons, then that kind of shows how weak this government is.
Otherwise, this is, as Representative Ansari said “This is Fascism” and people need to push back on this government and pressure them and their supporters to follow the law.
Otherwise, we could be next.
