Arizona Reaction to the ICE Killing of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo

Trump’s ICE Gestapo is at it again, killing innocent people and saying that the victims tried to ram them with their vehicles.

This excuse is almost as old as “Killed while trying to escape.”

You see that excuse in movies like Casablanca, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

ICE has just modernized the excuse to now say people are trying to run them over.

Their latest victim is 52-year-old Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a person who has lived in the United States for 35 years with no criminal record and has a family with children who are American citizens.

According to ICE accounts, they used deadly force on Mr. Araujo when he rammed one of their vehicles.

Suffice it to say, after the death of Rene Good last winter and other times when the same excuse has been used, no one outside the MAGA alt world is buying it, especially when video evidence and eyewitness accounts tell a different story.

What makes this tragedy worse is that ICE claims Mr. Araujo was not the intended target.

Local authorities really need to step up and, even though the federal authorities are obstructing their efforts, launch investigations and issue warrants to bring the Gestapo Thugs responsible for Mr. Araujo’s death.

Reacting to Mr. Araujo’s death, Arizona Representative Yassamin Ansari posted:
