Arizona Senators Disparage Pardoning of the January 6 Domestic Terrorists

Both of Arizona’s Senators do not think too kindly of Donald Trump’s blanket pardon of the over 1500 January 6 Domestic Terrorists who stormed the Capitol at the 45th President’s behest to overthrow a free and fair election.

Senator Mark Kelly, who is the son of two police officers and whose aunt was an F.B.I. agent relayed his disgust with Trump’s pardon of “the January 6 Criminals” in the below post, calling the decision to free insurrectionists that beat up Capitol Police “A really sad day for our country.”

Senator Ruben Gallego posted:

Senator Kelly was right when he said Trump’s actions resulted in “A sad day for our country.”

Senator Gallego is also right when he states the obvious in saying “Let’s support our police, not the ones who tried to kill them.”

The Republicans who hold their tongue or openly support the Felon in Chiefs decision are not supporters of law and order.
