Carolyn’s note: I’m not a member of this statewide Democratic caucus, but maybe I should be, as an Asian American born/raised in Hawaii. Been helping them with publicity for this event, and it sounds like a lot of fun, especially with authentic Hawaiian grinds (food).  Chinese New Year is celebrated on Feb. 16, 2018 and it is the Year of the Dog.
