Blooming at Williams Center

I caught this wonderfully soothing photo from a local Flickr user off the new Zeitgeist tool at the bottom of the right hand column. The zeitgeist displays the latest postings of 90 members of the local Tucson, AZ Flickr group.

This tree is just one of a row of blooming trees, apparently. Tommorrow, I am going to go see what that tree smells like. A little serendipity makes life richer, don’t you think?

Update: I saw them. I think they are crepe myrtles and they don’t have any scent detectable by humans. They sure are gorgeous trees when they’re blooming, though.
