Bringin’ It Again in 2008

Democrat Lord’s Work at Fundraising Draws Rare Look at Arizona District – New York Times.

Since Bushco has had their asses handed to them in Iraq, you would think that GOPers would be somewhat circumspect about using a certain testosterone-laden taunt for fear that it would come back to haunt them. But no. They will continue to use it; all they have left is empty bravado. And in 2008, when Shadegg is an ex Congresscritter, they may rue this bit of chest thumping in today’s NYT:

Noble, Shadegg’s spokesman, gave a more confrontational response: “To
any of the Democrats who think they might want to take on Congressman
Shadegg, he says he’ll crush them in votes and he’ll crush them in
fundraising, and bring it on!”

My hope is that when Bob Lord stands up to declare victory on election night that he will remind Shadegg and his minions that to crush your opponents in a democracy, you need at least a plurality of voters to believe you are actually serving their interests, not just to behave like a genital-waggling pro wrestler in a ‘roid rage. Really, that’s the current GOP’s biggest problem in a nutshell: too much genital waggling, too few results.

  1. Its kind of LATE to try to enforce the Laws or STOP the INVASION after 20 million illegalls are in Country waiting for Amnesty from Labor Unions to support from Rove and the business lobbies. My point IS what happens when the 20 million want to bring in to the United States there family members? Its like guests staying in your house uninvited when to they start to smell like fish and you KICK THEM OUT??

This stuff about Dupnik NOT being able to enforce illegal immigration laws is a load of CRAP. The Sheriff and the FEDERAL COURT SYSTEM is NOW over-run by Illegall’s and the Judges are FORCED to let them go because the Jails in Arizona are so STUFFED with Illegall’s Arizona must now EXPORT them to other States such as Indiana where the prision riots took place this week.

My question to the Oprn Border Crowd IS when IS ENOUGH_ENOUGH??

azw88 seems to have more compassion for criminals than he does for LEGAL CITIZENS of The United States trying to enforce the very laws WE as citizens must abide by while Illegall’s are given a pass in Federal Courts, and Amnesty for entering a forgien Country with-out LEGAL PAPERS??!!

azw88 I say to you , people like you ARE the MAIN reason Pima County Property Taxes ARE trippling because of over crowded schools and Jails and Court systems stretched beyond belief. So when would azw88 like the illegall’s to start following the Laws of this Land ?/ five years from now; 10 years from now/ 30 years from bnow WHEN????????

A border SECURITY FENCE with BOTH HARD FENCING and TECHNOLOGY is the answer!!

Once THE BORDER IS SECURED so you know WHO is coming into this Country Illegally everthing from Insurance Rates to Bank Credit Cards to Home Loans for Illegall’s to FREE in State tuition for Illegall’s will continue to destroy the infastructure that is already falling apart; all of which will stableize once the Immigration turns LEGAL and can be TRACKED!!!

azw88 I will NOT let up on the Destruction of Arizona and in particular Southern Arizona due to UNCONTROLLED ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION!

As for Sheriff Dupnik if HE WILL NOT ENFORCE THE LAWS AND TAKE SOME INITIATIVE TO STOP ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION””” I WILL!!!””

  2. The new unit that Dupnik formed is to deal with BORDER CRIME, not imigration enforcement. I applaud Dupnik for moving to take action to deal with the crime related to illegal immigration, especially the drug and smuggler gangs that have created a serious problem. All people in the US, regardless of legal status, have the right to legal protection. There are a whole lot of sleazy scumbags thqat prey on folks who come here illegally in a variety of ways.

And Dupnik is right, he doesn’t want to take on the responsibility of border enforcement. It ain’t his job, legally or ethically.

And the Republicans have been in power for how long, Dwight. It seem that a lack of action on the part of the House and Senate Republicans have let this become a problem, not the new majority that took office less than 4 months ago. And if you think a wall or hard core border enforcement will solve the issue, you are sad,y mistaken. There is too much $$ to be made smuggling people. Making it tougher to smuggle will just amp up the level of violence and shoot outs between rival gangs on I-10 and the back roads of southern Arizona will be a very regular occurance.

  3. Things are unravelling faster in Pima County than in Iraq!! I warned all of you (4) four Years ago what an uncontrolled Border would lead to and came down HARD on Sheriff Clarence Dupnik for following the DO NOTHING ATTITUDE of the BRING THEM OVER THE BORDER CROWD. Now The Sheriff confirms WE HAVE A FULL SCALE WAR ON OUR HANDS, and has asked for Federal Help!!! He has shut down a special squad team and formed a Border Squad and asked for (1) one million in fuding from the Pima County Board of Supervisors plus millions in Federal Aid he was WHINNING ABOUT just last year to Governor Janet Napolitano that he did NOT want to do his job as Sheriff in Pima County because if the Federal Government gave him dollars the County would CUT HIS BUDGET!! Now as we bitched about a War fought in a forgien place by volunteers and lost sight of our own Border we are in a MESS! Our Government has played enough GAMES overseas WHILE ROME BURNS AT HOME!!!

As your and my Property Taxes go through the roof because of The Democratic Party supporting open Borders that has now shifted the drug cartels from El Paso to Tucson, don’t tell me I Did NOT TELL YOU SO!!!
