The spree-murder/suicide of racist GOP activist J.T. Ready in Gilbert Arizona has once-again turned national attention upon the poisonous stew of Arizona's racist right-wing politics, and how deeply immured in that muck was former Arizona Senate President and current Arizona Senate candidate Russell Pearce.
It now seems that the Ready was being investigated by the FBI as a potential domestic terrorist. He was suspected of having a role in several shooting incidents in the desert along the border in which camouflaged men shot and killed Mexican nationals, among other as-yet undisclosed criminal charges.
TPM Muckraker (contributor Nick Martin was until recently an Arizona-based blogger) recently posted excepts from an email sent the website by Ready shortly before his spree, and has been following the case for Muckraker. It can be looked upon as a sort of appoligia and manifesto of an American monster.
