The Kris Mayes for Arizona Campaign has released a new ad showing the corporate interests she has fought against to protect Arizona consumers and state resources.

“As Attorney General, I’ve picked a lot of fights. And won. So, let me introduce you to some of the losers.
The Saudi Arabian megafarms draining our water supply
The greedy corporations hiking up prices.
Drug smugglers, elder abusers and scammers.
The winners?
Everyday Arizonans like you. Small business owners. Farmers and ranchers. Parents and kids.
But the work’s not done.

“CLAIM: “The Saudi Arabian megafarms draining our water supply.”
FACT: Attorney General Mayes sued Fondomonte Arizona LLC, the Saudi-owned company that has pumped billions of gallons of groundwater from rural Arizona to grow alfalfa for export overseas. The lawsuit seeks to stop the company’s unlawful groundwater use and protect Arizona’s limited water resources.
CLAIM: “The greedy corporations hiking up prices.”
FACT: Attorney General Mayes has made corporate accountability a hallmark of her administration, including leading efforts to block the Kroger-Albertsons grocery merger, suing RealPage and corporate landlords over an alleged rent-price fixing scheme, and taking action against companies accused of harming Arizona consumers. Just this week, she filed a new suit to block the Paramount-Warner Bros mega-merger.
CLAIM: “Drug smugglers…”
FACT: Since taking office, the Attorney General’s Office has partnered with law enforcement agencies across Arizona to seize more than 27 million fentanyl pills and prosecute transnational criminal organizations trafficking deadly drugs into Arizona communities.
CLAIM: “…elder abusers…”
FACT: Attorney General Mayes has prioritized protecting Arizona seniors by prosecuting financial exploitation, scams, abuse, and neglect targeting older Arizonans while expanding consumer protection efforts across the state.
CLAIM: “…and scammers.”
FACT: Attorney General Mayes has pursued scammers, fraudsters, and businesses accused of deceptive practices while recovering millions in stolen funds and returning them to Arizonafraud victims. Since she took office, her crackdown on the billion dollar Sober Living Fraud has been reduced 92%.

FACT: During her first term, Attorney General Mayes has fought to protect Arizona consumers, defend the state’s water supply, combat organized crime, challenge corporate monopolies, and recover money for Arizona taxpayers and consumers.”
