Day of Action – May 19th – Walking for Arizona's Democratic Future!

It is time to finish collecting those last signatures for our Democratic Candidates!

Join Democrats and candidates from all over Southern Arizona as we complete the last bits of work to make sure all our candidates will be on August's Primary Ballot.

*BONUS* – For those of you who are collecting your PC signatures, feel free to bring your own walk lists and pick up petitions for those candidates who need signatures in your area. It's a WIN/WIN!

This is going to be a huge weekend and we need everyone ready to hit the ground!

The Pima County Democratic Party will join together for a Day of Action Saturday, May 19. Volunteers will gather petition signatures for Democratic candidates to qualify them for the November ballot.

“As all of you know, this is a pivotal year in the history of our state. We stand on the threshold of capturing five of the nine Congressional seats; placing an Arizona Democrat in the U.S. Senate; and, making strong inroads to capturing one of the houses of the Arizona State Legislature. We need a strong turnout this weekend to help our candidates wrap up their petition signatures to get on the ballot. Please join us as we begin to take our state back from the Tea Party extremists.” said Pima County Democratic Party Chair Jeff Rogers.

"Reclaiming Arizona's future depends on turnout," said new Pima County Executive Director Wendy Cevallos. "We plan to send some Tea Party Republicans packing by mobilizing voters in the new legislative districts across the county, and replace them with Democrats interested in restoring fairness and common sense to government."

Walkers will start from Pima County Democratic Headquarters, 4639 E. 1st Street, Tucson AZ at 9:00 a.m. and at 2:00 p.m; People for Grijalva Campaign Headquarters, 657 W. St. Mary’s Rd., Tucson AZ at 9:00 a.m. and at 2:00 p.m.; and other participating locations.
