Doug Ducey is Arizona’s answer to Sam Brownback: a disaster in the making

Sam-BrownbackI have been warning you about this for months. Kansas is a cautionary tale for Arizona and Kansas is a cautionary tale for Arizona: Kansas’s failed experiment.

Kansas Governor Sam Brownback has blind faith in supply-side “trickle down” GOP economics.  For him it is an article of faith, rather than a disproved and discredited economic theory.

Here are a series of recent articles on Governor Sam Brownback’s failed “real live experiment” in creating a conservative utopia in Kansas:

DougduceyArizona has also been engaged in this “real live experiment” under Governor Jan Brewer and a Tea-Publican controlled legislature, and it also has been a failed experiment. Gov. Brewer’s ‘Arizona Comeback’ is now ‘Arizona’s nightmare’.

“Cathi’s Clown” Doug Ducey, the candidate from Koch, who has been Arizona’s State Treasurer for the past four years and has born witness to Governor Brewer’s failed experiment, nevertheless promises to double-down on this failed experiment. He has promised to reduce Arizona’s income tax to as close to zero as possible, in blind faith that this will “kick-start the economy.” Ducey says he believes “the state is on the verge of a rapid comeback,” despite all objective evidence to the contrary. “I believe in unicorns!” This is delusional.

Doug Ducey is Arizona’s answer to Sam Brownback: he is a disaster in the making. After all the suffering Arizonans have endured over the past six years under the insanity of Gov. Jan Brewer and our Tea-Publican controlled legislature, it would be an act of political suicide to put Doug Ducey and Tea-Publicans in charge. It is insanity to vote for certain economic disaster.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. Stop the insanity!

  1. All of Ducey’s campaign material appears to have come directly from Brownback’s policy manual. I guess since they are both slaves to the Koch brothers, by Ducey’s own recorded breathless fawning, that is what we can expect from Doug. Remember that Arizona.
