We’ll discuss electoral and policy issues in Southern Arizona, including how to build more effective networks in your community, and answer your questions. Join us for a timely conversation with a long-serving Tucson activist, educator and community advocate.

Dr. Meeks is a courageous educator and community leader whose knowledge, passion, and strength help shape a more just and empowered community. Professionally, Dr. Meeks is the Assistant Dean for Leadership and Student Development in the W.A. Franke Honors College at the University of Arizona, where she champions inclusive learning and cultural awareness. As President of the NAACP Tucson Branch, she is deeply committed to eliminating race-based discrimination and advancing equity, political rights, and social inclusion for Black communities. She will talk about how she uses these spaces to educate, empower, and move individuals to action.”
