Valentine’s Day Sustainability Tour

“Are you ready for a unique Valentine’s Day experience? Look no further! The City of Tucson’s Environmental and General Services invites you to embark on a tour through Tucson’s Recycling Facility and the Los Reales Sustainability Campus Landfill and Compost Facility on the sweetest day of the year.
📅 Date: Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024
🕙 Time: The bus will begin loading at 8:30 a.m. and the tour will be complete by noon.
📍 Meeting Location: Price Service Center, 4004 S. Park Ave. in the upper parking lot.

Carolyn’s note: I went recently on their Halloween Sustainability Tour and learned a lot more about recycling, and what ends up in the landfill. Also they are composting a lot more than before, which is encouraging as well.
