Arizona Congressional House District Four Representative Greg Stanton is the latest fair weather Democrat to voice his suggestion that President Joe Biden withdraw from the 2024 race.
Please see Mr. Stanton’s announcement below.
In one sentence, Mr. Stanton calls President Biden “our country’s most effective modern Chief Executives” and backstabs him, while the President is still hosting a N.A.T.O. conference, by calling on him to get out of the race.
Someone lost my vote today and it is not Mr. Biden.
Mr. Stanton will have to re-earn my vote after today.
His statement is intellectually dishonest
Instead of piling on Mr. Biden, he should be educating voters on how the man he endorsed in 2020 delivered for the country.
Instead, he openly defies the wish of Arizona Primary Voters who made President Biden, the one who has, according to Mr. Stanton’s own words, been a successful President, their nominee.
Not good strategy for party unity, sir. Good job.
Shame on you.

Man, if all these people would stop talking about how old Biden is old, we can pretend he isn’t old. Then we can convince the 50 million people that the old guy they saw isn’t really old. And then we can convince people that the polls showing Biden is deemed too old to win are really not polls but just some opinionated people. And if only the media would stop showing an old Biden and once again focus back on a lying Trump…ugh
Hey, folks, it’s math. Decrepit Biden < Lying, convicted Trump when it comes to votes.
Democrats have a uniquely Democratic propensity for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. I say leave Joe alone. He has the best chance of winning against the MAGAmoron. If Joe happens to keel over before Nov, Harris steps in and carries the election on a wave of sympathy for Joe.
Boy, some of our Democratic elected officials are scared. Like all of the other persons calling for Biden to drop out, Rep. Stanton doesn’t say who the new nominee should be and what process would be used to pick to that person. Would Stanton want Biden to anoint VP Harris as the new nominee? Would that satisfy those who have another favorite candidate in mind? Does Stanton favor an “open” convention? The last time the Democrats tried that was in 1952, and although they nominated a wonderful man, Gov. Adlai E. Stevenson, he got clobbered in the general election. Furthermore in 1952, there were just under 1,300 delegates to that convention. Guess how many there are for this year’s convention: over 4,000! I concede that an open convention with over 4,000 delegates would make fascinating T.V. viewing, like watching the demolition derby, but instead of cars being destroyed, it would be Democrats. It’s easy for elected officials like Rep. Stanton to call on Biden to step down. It allows them to imagine a new dream Democratic candidate who will unite the Party and assist them in getting re-elected. However, Stanton’s failure to recommend a replacement or a viable process to choose that successor tells me he has no realistic plan to replace Biden as the top of our ticket. I like Biden’s accomplishments as President, and I trust his experience and values. C’mon, Greg. Take a deep breath. Strap on your big boy pants, and join the rest of us in riding with Biden.
Democrat forever here….Biden must go.
The Democratic Party looks worse than MAGA; and we thought they were a circus 🤡?
They have lost my vote if this idiotic parade continues. They will lose the election for us as many of us will just it out. What a sad state our nation is with such a lack of leadership, ethics and integrity.
After all Joe has done they want a proven unknown? Good luck!
What a defeatist attitude. If you don’t do it my way, I’m gonna take my vote and go home.
