Fly your Flag at Half-Mast on Inauguration Day

Hang your flag at half-mast, honoring the death of our democratic republic.

Join me in hanging your flag at half-mast, honoring the death of our democratic republic. There are 75 million of us who did not vote for the criminal monarch, and we will not bend the knee on inauguration day on January 20.

Starting on Tuesday, jack-booted government agents will raid homes, stores, farms, construction sites, cleaning businesses, restaurants, schools, hospitals, nursing homes and factories.

They will drag immigrants away and throw them into private concentration camps in Texas, Louisiana, and Georgia, plus 200 ICE-operated dungeons. Federal agents will also arrest spouses or roommates who are not targets but happen to be in the country illegally.

The king will pardon murderous insurrectionists, persecute elected officials, and start wars against friendly nations. When a natural disaster strikes, citizens in Democratic states will be denied assistance.

“My flag will be flown at half-staff on January 20,” writes frequent letter writer Sheldon Clark of Vail in the Arizona Daily Star.

Flag upside down

If you don’t have a flagpole, join me in flying the flag upside down with the stars at the bottom. An inverted flag is a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.

An upside-down flag is also a sign of protest of tyrannical rule. It’s perfectly legal to do so, and it proclaims the country is headed in the wrong direction. The First Amendment right of free speech protects such acts.

Events of political turmoil, such as a crisis, scandal, or breach of democratic protocol, allow an individual or group to protest by flying the flag upside down. You will be protesting the actions taken or planned by the government that threaten the values and principles of the United States.

You can buy a US flag at Ace Hardware for $16. The flag is attached by clips, allowing easy repositioning of the flag.

Celebrate MLK instead

Turn off inauguration news and instead join the Martin Luther King Celebration march starting at 10 am on January 20 at the DeMeester Outdoor Performance Center in Reid Park.

Honor a true leader of civil rights, nonviolence, compassion, and faith. He said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere,” and “Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle.”

This family-centered event brings our community together to honor the past and inspire the future.  Enjoy live music, performances, food vendors, retail, and information booths.  The commemorative march starts at 10:00 am, with the festival immediately following.

The festival includes speeches, performances, food vendors, and community booths. In 1994, Congress designated the holiday as a National Day of Service, marking the third Monday in January every year as the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service – a “Day On, Not a Day Off.”

  1. Phase one is deporting criminal illegal aliens. Do you have a problem with that? If so, that’s why you lost the election. But don’t wake up .I want Vance in 2028.

      • Crimes are felonies and misdemeanors. Probably those in the Laken Reilly Act that Governor Hobbs and Senators Gallego and Kelly supported.

        • Just goes to show – ask a simpleton and get a simpleton answer!

Apparently you’re equating those who enter illegally (a misdemeanor) with hardened criminals and must be dealt with just as harshly.

        • John Kavanagh, your boy convicted rapist and felon Don-old Jessica Trump just released a bunch of very violent men, including Stewart Rhoades, whose own children and ex-wife are scared of, and the world’s most famous drug dealer, the guy who ran the 200 million dollar online drug mart Silk Road.

At least 6 people died from buying heroin on Silk Road taht we know of, and one of the J6 guys rapey Don released wants violence so much he posts himself online screaming about how much he loves violence.

He let guys go who tased a cop, guys who beat cops, guys who used bear spray on cops, guys who took handguns into the capital while shouting “hang Mike Pence”.

You are truly lacking in any self awareness at all. I guess in your world being a violent criminal is okay if you’re white.

Most if not all of these guys will be back in prison soon, they are who they are, they will reoffend, and you are the guy who supports the guy who let them back on the street.

And what does it say about your life, that after your boy the rapist won, you spend your dotage here, trolling?

          I’m starting to pity you.

Send sure enough, one of them is already back in jail, headed to prison.

The day after he got “pardoned” by a convicted rapist and felon.

JGCK supports the guy who let that guy and so many violent people back on the street, people with some nasty records even before J6.

When it comes to who’s a criminal and who’s not, John Government Checks Kavanagh should probably STFU.
