In Abe Hamadeh’s Arizona, ‘Great’ Leaders like Kelli Ward Take the Fifth

Arizona Democratic Attorney General Nominee Kris Mayes is having no problem picking out her unworthy opponent, Abe Hamadeh’s faults.

In a series of social media ads and posts, Ms. Mayes and her team have demonstrated, for all to see, how unsuitable Mr. Hamadeh is for public office.

Over the last week, following their debate on PBS,  the Mayes campaign has released two ads, called Midterm Fables, showing Mr. Hamadeh’s buy into the big lie concerning the 2020 Presidential election and his draconian-medieval position on a woman’s reproductive freedom.

During the last 48 hours, the campaign has released two new digital ads in the Midterm Fable series.

The first one, from October 3, 2022, shows Hamadeh’s ignorance of the Arizona Constitution and its clauses regarding privacy that should be applied to women’s reproductive freedom. In the ad, Ms. Mayes, in an excerpt from the debate, tells Hamadeh that he is “confused” with regards to the Constitution and comments to the moderators that her opponent is okay with women who are victims of rape and incest being forced to through their pregnancy.

The second ad, released today (October 5, 2022,) shows a very devout Trump Republican Hamadeh willing to prosecute people who he claimed caused fraud and an Arizona victory for Joe Biden in 2020, calling them “the crimes of 2020.”

Hamadeh then goes on to say he wants to reduce mail-in voting. A later clip shows the Trump Republican subscribing to the discredited allegations made in Dinesh D’Souza’s far-right fable, “2000 Mules,” saying “there should be 200 arrests made right here in Maricopa.” The Mayes campaign also showed a clip demonstrating Hamadeh’s subservience to all things Donald Trump. The ad ends with the Mayes campaign stating:

“The moral of the story: Abe Hamadeh wants to be Trump’s lawyer. Kris Mayes will be the lawyer for all Arizonans.”

Finally, the Mayes campaign has shown voters how devoted Hamadeh really is to law and order…except for Republican supporters.

As AZ Blue Meanie and others have reported, Arizona Republican Party Chairperson Kelli Ward (the person who probably actually committed fraud to retain her chair position) decided to take the fifth on several occasions when testifying before the January 6 Committee investigating the Trump-supported Domestic Terrorist attack on the Nation’s Capitol (the one where Mark Finchem was an attendee.)

No problem apparently for Mr. Hamadeh as the below social media post from the Mayes Campaign attests:

Readers should not hold their breath waiting for Mr. Hamadeh to prosecute Kelli Ward.

Ms. Mayes is right. Democracy and Freedom are on the line.

Vote for the candidate that will protect those on November 8, 2022.

From the clips provided by the Mayes Campaign, Abe Hamadeh has shown he is not the person that will protect either.
