In the Harris/Walz Ad “Yesenia,” Tucson Resident Yesenia Gamez Worries About Not Getting IVF Treatment Thanks to Donald Trump

In an ad that speaks to the issues of reproductive freedom, women’s health care, and treating military families well, the Harris/Walz Campaign has released a new piece called “Yesenia” across the battleground states.

The ad, which will also undoubtedly also appeal to the Latina Community and Southern Arizona residents, has Mrs. Yesenia Gamez, a Tucson resident and the wife of an active duty member of the United States Military, convey her worries about her husband being transferred to a state that prohibits In Vitro Fertilization (IVF.)

Mrs. Gamez is currently undergoing IVF treatment in the Tucson area.

The script for the ad is below:

YESENIA GAMEZ: My husband and I are going through IVF treatments now. It could be our only chance to have a family.

But Donald Trump’s plan could ban IVF in some states.

My husband is in the military. He volunteered to serve. We are patriots, and we go where he is assigned.

What if we end up in a state where IVF is no longer legal. What will we do then?

VICE PRESIDENT HARRIS: I’m Kamala Harris, and I approve this message.

All families, including military ones, deserve better than the restrictions on reproductive freedom and women’s health care that the Trump/Vance ticket and their supporters in Government and the Courts offer the country.
