Is Adam Driggs having trouble getting on the ballot?

A supporter of the incumbent AZ Senator in LD28 tweeted this:

Driggs invite

It could be that Driggs has plenty of signatures and simply wants to turn in the maximum number but this seems a tad hair-on-fire, especially since his Dem challenger Kelli Butler has already filed. Also, what’s up with the use of his law office email address? Hope he’s reporting these sorts of in-kind expenditures on his finance reports.

  1. No, remember that signature gathering and this event are dual purpose. Signature gathering is an excuse to get in front of voters. The event has the incidental benefit of creating a volunteer base and, if he’s running clean, contributions.
