Sen. John McCain’s ‘illegitimate son,’ Lindsey Graham (McCain’s words), opened an exploratory committee this week to run as John McCain’s proxy for president, because the third time is the charm. Lindsey Graham jumps into 2016 race for president.
Little Lindsey Graham’s genteel Southern sensibilities always has him retiring to his fainting couch and clutching his pearls. I swear this professional fear-monger must check under his bed for monsters every night before retiring.

Jon Stewart brilliantly mocked Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) for his latest round of psychotic fear-mongering.
Much to Stewart’s wry amusement, Graham appeared on Fox News Sunday and issued his usual Dire Warnings of Impending Doom… This time about ISIS:
“this president needs to rise to the occasion before we all get killed back here at home.”
… Which reminded a highly skeptical Stewart of Graham’s other dire warnings and tales of terror.
Senator Graham on assault weapons:
“If my family was in the crosshairs of gangs that were roaming around neighborhoods, in New Orleans, or any other location, the deterrent effect of an AR-15 to protect my family, I think is greater than a double-barrel shotgun.”
Graham on balancing the budget:
“All this talk about fear, it’s real. We’re on an unsustainable path when it comes to our nation.”
Graham on Iran’s nuclear program:
“We’re walking down the road to Armageddon.”
Stewart then hilariously comments:
“The poor man lives his entire life trapped in the ‘Blair Witch Project.’ For God’s sakes, I’ve seen chihuahuas in handbags who are less fretful and shaking. But even more impressive, Lindsey Graham has sustained this level of panic for 13 years. Even though many of the boogey men that live under his bed [stage whispers] aren’t really there at all.”
