Johnson, Guns in Schools Make NY Times

by David Safier

Arizona has made the big time once again. We have McCain, of course, and now we have State Senator Karen Johnson. She’s featured in today’s New York Times article, Arizona Weighs Bill to Allow Guns on Campuses.

I enlarged the photo of her sitting in what I assume is her office. Here is what I could decipher on the bumper stickers and posters surrounding her: “One Nation Under Surveillance [Couldn’t read next line]”; “Gun Control is Using [Couldn’t read the rest]”; “911: Ask Questions, Demand Answers”; “Keep Honking … I’m Reloading”; “Support Our Troops, Bring Them Home Now”; “Criminals Prefer [Unarmed?] Victims”; “In God We Trust.”

Corrections and additions welcomed.
