Arizona Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Katie Hobbs successfully kicked off her general election campaign with her Solutions Can’t Wait Tour this weekend.
With stops in the Salt River Indian Community, Yuma, and Tucson, the Arizona Secretary of State and her growing army of supporters and volunteers engaged with voters to discuss:
- Turning out to vote to protect Democracy.
- Protecting a woman’s right to choose.
- The water crisis.
- Getting the job done with respect to solving the state’s vital issues like fully funding public schools and expanding economic growth.
Reacting to Secretary Hobb’s Solutions Can’t Wait Tour, Tuscon Mayor Regina Romero posted:
I am proud to join #Arizona’s next Governor @katiehobbs along with @ppazaction. Hobbs is a defender of democracy and a champion of reproductive rights while her gubernatorial opponent is an election denier who supports a total abortion ban. In conjunction with the Arizona Democratic Party, the Katie Hobbs for Governor Campaign also touted two new campaign ads.
The first, “Our America” discusses Secretary Hobb’s belief system and her goals to solve the state’s problems like protecting a woman’s right to choose, Democracy, lowering costs, and fixing public schools.
The second ad, titled “Too Dangerous,” brands Trump Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Kari Lake as too radical, extremist, and dangerous for her views on criminalizing abortion and supporting the sale of rocket launchers to anyone with the money to buy.
