When voters fill out their mail ballots or go to the polls before and during election day, they should let history be their guide when informing themselves on the best party candidates to vote for.
For example, the leading issue heading into the November elections is affordability and the squeeze on the 98 percent who are not part of Donald Trump’s Gilded Age billionaire cronies, who are the only ones reaping the benefits of his Big Beautiful Rob from the Poor and Middle Class and giving to the Wealthy Legislation.
Voters need to consider that Trump’s Golden Age for America only extends to the most affluent, including his corrupt family and is indicative of how poorly the country has fared economically when Republican Presidents have presided over the nation.
Please review the charts below from the Laguna Beach Democratic Club, which draw on verifiable government statistics.
It is during the times of Democratic Presidencies that the economy grows more, deficits are reduced, job growth skyrockets, and prosperity is more consistent.

Voters also need to consider the recent history of this current regime and how its tariff, tax, economic, immigration, and foreign policies (trade wars and starting an unprovoked conflict against Iran) have increased overall misery for the non-plutocratic class, complete with domestic concentration camps.
They also need to remember Trump’s public comments on the affordability crisis he created and the misery it has caused.
Please see below.

These remarks are in addition to his recent comments about it being okay for Iran to nuke Los Angeles and San Diego, calling it a small price to pay, and having a fixation with Ohio Senator John Husted’s body.
Voters should also consider Trump and his family’s financial corruption at the expense of the nation and his betrayal of Ukraine in favor of Putin by giving Russia a lifeline by buying their diesel fuel when he could have purchased it from Canada and, with or without Elon Musk, cutting Ukraine off from Starlink/Starshield Satellite data that has helped the Ukrainian military intercept Russian missiles.
Neville Chamberlain was naive when he thought he could deal with Hitler when he let him have Czechoslovakia’s Sudetenland.
Trump is worse.
He is stupid, financially self-centered, and truly feels that the leaders of authoritarian Russia and China are his kindred spirits instead of Western democratic leaders.
Those nations’ leaders are laughing at him as Trump cedes American power, like the purging of experienced military leadership at the Pentagon, the straining of the Post World War Two Alliance System, and letting China leap ahead in the clean energy technology market.
Voters need to remember all of this history when filling out their ballots and going to the polls during this election.
