Once upon a time, Arizona House District Two Representative Eli Crane professed a disdain for supporting and funding “forever wars” like those in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Well, those days, and Crane’s written opposition to those wars, are literally gone as the Donald Trump devotee has erased history, taking out his former position from his websites where he wrote, “Instead of funding forever wars and throwing away money we don’t have, Eli believes we should be focused on taking care of those who risked it all for our freedom.” to reflect his total allegiance to the Trumpian Dark Side, demonstrated by his five votes for the ill conceived and not Congressionally sanctioned war against Iran which has sent oil prices up to $100 a barrel, making life financially difficult for his constituents.
Reacting to Crane’s erasure of history and totally going to the Trumpian Dark Side, former Navajo President and Democratic Congressional District Two Nominee Jonathan Nez commented in a press release:
“Congressman Crane’s former policy of not funding ‘forever wars’ has clearly been tossed out the window as he supports a deadly and costly war with Iran at the expense of the taxpayers who elected him. He should understand the magnitude of wars in the Middle East and work to stop them. Instead, he has voted to continue the war. This hypocrisy proves he is not willing to stand up for his constituents. He is working for Washington elites, not for us Arizonans.”
DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly offered:
“Eli Crane can’t hide from his broken promises. No amount of shapeshifting can change the fact that Arizonans are feeling the pain of rising costs and six months of the war in Iran. Make no mistake: Crane’s broken promises will cost him his seat this November.”
Reilly’s press release also noted that Crane, who supported the Big Billionaires First Bill that took money from the poor and gave it to the rich while helping explode the national debt into the $40 trillion range, has removed the section advocating fiscal responsibility.
Republicans like Crane think that removing these former positions will somehow shield him from scrutiny.
It will not.
Nothing in the cyberworld is forever lost, and Ms. Reilly, Mr. Nez, and their teams are going to call out these moves to erase history and will not let people forget.

I wonder whose interests he reps?
I wish more people would look up who these people really are and who funds them, on both sides.
And of course he’s all in for “forever wars”.
“Crane co-founded Bottle Breacher, a company that manufactures bottle openers made of bullet casings.”
Nothing says Peace and Jesus’ love like cracking open a cold brewski with the leftover parts of a military grade murder machine.
