Our communities in Arizona are far from free from racially-biased policing. We have to demand that our own communities do much better than this shameful display of the worst habits of policing.
I’m terrified to think that anyone would be placed at such hazzard for such a minor matter! These cops were clearly on a hair trigger not justified by the apparent circumstances.
Much worse than this has happened regularly around our country, often ending with, mainly, corpses of color. #BlackLivesMatter
This gives a certain salience to news that hundreds of police officers belong to racist groups on facebook.

Julian Castro is the only Democratic presidential candidate who is brave enough to fully acknowledge the nation’s policing problem as a 2020 election issue. (I could be wrong given so many candidates).
