At Ageez Barbershop in Phoenix yesterday (February 5, 2022,) Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, along with members of the Phoenix Urban League and Omega’s Nursing Association, called on Phoenicians to come out and get vaccinated if they have not done so already.
Speaking to the people, Mayor Gallego reminded the people that, thanks to the unanimous approval of a $25 million pandemic prevention investment by her and the rest of the Phoenix City Council, mobile test units are out, vaccination events are being scheduled, and free COVID 19 test kits and masks were available.
The Mayor said that she “hopes you’ll (Phoenix residents) will take advantage of it…Please go to Phoenix.gov to find out where you can be vaccinated.”
