Plan Tucson on Tucson City Council Agenda for Tuesday

PlanTucsonThe Final Plan Tucson is included on the agenda for the Mayor and Council meeting
on July 9, 5:30 p.m., City Hall. Mayor and Council will be considering
two decisions: (1) whether to adopt the Plan, and (2) whether to refer
the Plan to the November 2013 ballot for voter ratification in
conformance with State requirements.

This meeting is not a
public hearing however there are two options for providing comments to
the Mayor and Council: 1) call, e-mail or send a letter to Mayor and
Council offices in advance of Tuesday’s meeting, or 2) fill out a card
to speak during the call to the audience portion of the Regular Meeting
beginning at 5:30 on Tuesday.

Resolution
No. 22067 relating to Planning and Zoning; adopting "Plan
Tucson – City of Tucson General and Sustainability Plan 2013;" and
declaring an emergency.

Ordinance No.
11098 relating to Elections; pursuant to A.R.S. § 9-461.06 and
Chapter XX of the Tucson Charter, calling a special election to be held on
November 5, 2013, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of
the City of Tucson, Arizona, as a referred measure, a question regarding the
ratification of the City of Tucson General Plan for land use within the City,
known as "Plan Tucson – City of Tucson General and Sustainability
Plan 2013;" and declaring an emergency.
