Sunday, March 30, 3:00 p.m.: Lyon for 11 Campaign Launch Party, at the SaddleBrooke #1 Tennis Center. Retired Air Force Colonel Hollace “Holly” Lyon has jumped into the race for a seat in the Arizona House of Representatives in Legislative District 11. Bring $5, help Holly qualify for state matching funds, sign her petitions. Beverages and snacks will be provided. RSVP TODAY!

Sunday, March 30, 6:30 p.m.: The famed Sunday Evening Forum of Tucson returns, at the Fox Theater, 17 W. Congress Street (Tucson). Retired United States Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor will have an “armchair” interview with retired Arizona Supreme Court Justice Stanley Feldman for an hour followed by audience questions and answers. Retired Justices O’Connor and Feldman will discuss contemporary legal issues as well as the historic cases that affected Arizona and the United States. The forum is free and open to the public. Saturday, April 5, 9:00 a.m.: Phoenix Pride 2014: Once again this year the Arizona Democratic Party LGBT Caucus is coordinating the Arizona Democratic Party and Maricopa County Democratic Party during Phoenix Pride weekend. The weekend will be packed with activities, from the Saturday morning parade to the weekend long festival at Indian School Park. Not to mention building the float from April 2-4. There will be activities for every. We all work together to make this a great event and need your help too.
