Proof that Trump is an Anti-Abortion Hater

For years, Trump has been a double-speaking shapeshifter regarding abortion rights – announcing one viewpoint and then the opposite. Now we know for sure: he is an anti-woman, anti-abortion sociopath.

Trump announced on August 30 that he is against Florida’s abortion rights ballot measure. After criticizing the state’s current six-week abortion ban, he flip-flopped and said he will not vote for a Florida ballot measure that would expand access to abortion.

The proposed amendment bars restrictions on abortion before fetal viability, around the 24th week of pregnancy, while ensuring exceptions to protect the health of the mother.

The day before, Trump told NBC News that he disagreed with the draconian six-week ban enacted by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Republicans. Women don’t even know they are pregnant after six weeks.

“I think the six-week (ban) is too short — it has to be more time,” Trump told NBC News. “I’m going to be voting that we need more than six weeks,” he said.

But then evangelical and anti-abortion partisans attacked Trump. Proving he has no moral principles, Trump immediately changed his mind.

poll released August 15 by Florida Atlantic University and Mainstreet USA found 56 percent of Sunshine State voters support the proposed amendment, falling short of the 60 percent threshold Florida requires for constitutional amendments to become law.

May 17, 2023: Trump says, “I was able to kill Roe v. Wade,” and “Without me, there would be no 6 weeks, 10 weeks, 15 weeks, or whatever is finally agreed to. Without me, the pro-life movement would have just kept losing.”

April 30, 2024: Trump says in Time magazine that it should be left to the states whether to prosecute women for abortions or whether to monitor women’s pregnancies. So far, 24 states have enacted laws restricting abortion – including 14 with outright bans and no exceptions.

September 1, 2024: “It almost seems to me like this is improvisational politics,” said Erick Erickson, the founder of the conservative website RedState, of Mr. Trump’s spate of recent statements. “There’s not really a plan — he’s ‘Live at the Improv,’ which is a problem for this.”
