Psycho Talk: GOP attacks Bo!

Posted by AzBlueMeanie:

There is nothing as sad and pathetic as the right-wing media noise machine that must attack everything including a man's dog. When will they learn that this is never a smart move as FDR showed them.

First, Ed Shultz takes down the latest psycho talk from the wingnuts.

Here is how FDR handled this psycho talk. FDR responds with good humor at Republican attempts to lay blame for the Great Depression at his doorstep. The president however takes exception to those who would assail his scotch terrier Fala ("The Fala Speech").

  1. How are things in your RW world? FDR Completely responsible for the Depression that started BEFORE he became President?
Disastrous policies? You mean the ones that ushered in prosperity? And by the way,the man that was elected by an overwhelming margin by the good people of the United States, is the President. Of all of us.You can call him President Obama.

You may want to revisit what you think you know of FDR.

  2. You have to be kidding me. We now know that FDR was almost completely responsible for the great depression. Only in liberal mythology did FDR “save” the nation. His regulatory morass, which replicated the disastrous communist “five year planning” was responsible for 1/3 of the loss of growth, his tax increases were responsible for another 1/3 and the interaction of his horrible policies with monetary policy led to the final 1/3 through the shrinking of the money supply.

Worse yet, Roosevelt’s disastrous economic policies drug down the whole world and directly led to the rise of a no-name hack named Adolph Hitler who was going nowhere until Germany’s economy went into the tank.

Now, we have to suffer the misery again as the current slime in the white house repeat the Roosevelt playbook. Who are the victims? Young African-Americans, recent college graduates and small business job creators. Unemployed, unemployed and bankrupt.
