“Krazy Kari” Lake attended a cmpaign event sponsored by a right-wing organization calling itself America Pack (because they don’t know the acronym for political action committee is “PAC”). The supposed founder of America Pack, Valerie Grosso Turley, explains:
I founded America Pack based on a simple mission and an even grander vision. I believe we must do everything in our power to fight for a country we once knew was pure, a country we once knew was free, a country we once knew was OURS!
This is barely coded language for white Christian Nationalism.
At this campaign event, “Krazy Kari” Lake called on Arizona’s sheriffs, name checking MAGA Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb, to arrest Dr. Anthony Fauci for keeping the horse dewormer drug Ivermectin from the American people as a “wonder drug” for treating Covid-19. I kid you not.

The Food and Drug Administration and Center For Disease Control issued a warning about invermectin some time ago. Ivermectin Products are Not Approved by FDA to Prevent or Treat COVID-19:
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not authorized or approved using ivermectin to prevent or treat COVID-19 in humans and has cautioned about the potential risks of using ivermectin for COVID-19. This medication is FDA-approved to treat certain infections caused by internal and external parasites, but is not authorized or approved by the FDA to prevent or treat COVID-19.
During the COVID-19 pandemic and recent surges of COVID-19 cases, rates of ivermectin prescriptions dispensed from retail pharmacies have increased, as has use of ivermectin-containing veterinary products available over the counter but not intended for human use. U.S. poison control centers have experienced a rise in calls reporting ivermectin misuses and overdoses and reports of more people experiencing adverse effects.
Adverse effects of ivermectin overdose include:
-
-
- Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea
- Low blood pressure (hypotension)
- Neurologic effects such as decreased consciousness, confusion, hallucinations, central nervous system depression, seizures, coma, and death
-
Ivermectin may also increase sedative effects of other medications such as benzodiazepines and barbiturates.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines Panel has determined that there are currently insufficient data to recommend using ivermectin to treat COVID-19. Clinicians and public health practitioners should educate patients about the risks of using ivermectin without an indication or prescription, as well as about the risks of ingesting ivermectin products that are meant solely for external use or veterinary use. COVID-19 vaccination is safe and the most effective means to prevent infection and protect against severe disease and death from SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Clinicians are strongly encouraged to educate patients to use proven COVID-19 prevention measures, especially getting vaccinated and boosted as soon as eligible, and use FDA-authorized treatment.

I’m guessing “Krazy Kari” lake is suffering from some of those neurological effects the FDA warned about.
As crazy as she is, the Chair of the Republican Party in Oklahoma is calling for Dr. Fauci to be executed by firing squad. (Oklahoma offers firing squad as an option to death row inmates).
Lee Moran reports, Republicans Cheer As Congressional Candidate Demands Fauci’s Execution By Firing Squad:
Oklahoma GOP Chair John Bennett, who is running for Congress, said he wants to put Dr. Anthony Fauci in front of a firing squad ― and the crowd at a campaign event clapped and cheered.
“We’re fighting communist Democrats, establishment RINOs!” Bennett ranted in a video that Right Wing Watch shared online Tuesday, which has now gone viral.

“We’re fighting against a system that stole the election in 2020 and nobody had been held accountable,” Bennett continued, parroting former President Donald Trump’s baseless election fraud claims. “We’re in a war with bureaucrats that have forced vaccine mandates on us, mask mandates on us.”
Bennett then railed against something he described as “wokeness confusion,” which he alleged is being pushed “down our throats now.”
Then came his sinister line about Fauci, who has been targeted by repeated death threats for his public health work during the coronavirus pandemic.
“And by the way, we should try Anthony Fauci and put him in front of a firing squad,” said Bennett, not really expanding on what crime he believes Fauci has committed.
Then he added: “And for the Secret Service, if they’re listening, I’m not advocating we kill Anthony Fauci … until he’s convicted of his crimes through a court.”
Fauci, as a highly visible U.S. health official, has spoken about the barrage of conservative criticism, vitriol and violent threats he’s received for his public health advice during the pandemic.
He called for the firing of Fox News’ Jesse Watters after the TV host in December urged young conservatives to “ambush” him and “go for the kill shot” with questions.
“The only thing that I have ever done throughout these two years is to encourage people to practice good public health practices: to get vaccinated, to be careful in public settings, to wear a mask,” Fauci said at the time.
Then there was the QAnon/White Christian Nationalism misapproriately named “Patriots Arise” event in Pennsylvania last week. These people are insurrectionists, not patriots.
Of course, the QAnon "Patriots Arise" event attended by GOP candidates Doug Mastriano, Teddy Daniels, and Doug Cox last weekend also featured COVID-19 conspiracy theories courtesy of Elizabeth Eads, who claimed vaccines are "all part of turning you into an AI transhuman." pic.twitter.com/5e8KxF8PLl

You had better take this QAnon/White Christian Nationalism shit seriously. These dangerously violent people (the insurrectionists on January 6) could actually get elected to office and then begin their war to purge America of everyone who does not subscribe to their QAnon/White Christian Nationalism cult in pursuit of a white Christian nation.

Pennsylvania GOP gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano told the QAnon "Patriots Arise" event last weekend that he'll win election in November because "my God will make it so." And once he does, Mastriano promised to make Florida look like "amateur hour." https://t.co/MBqq24ad1a pic.twitter.com/mNDiEXkXDv

I too enjoy spending time making up crimes and then demanding the falsely accused be fined, jailed, or even hung!
To wit, we know that people like Kari Lake somehow manage to leave less money in the church collection plate than they put in.
And if everyone knows this, why isn’t something being done? Where are the arrests?
Are people like Kari Lake somehow above the law?
Is stealing from Jesus something we can look forward to in Kari Lake’s America?
I’m just asking questions here.
We need to take back our country from church collection plate thieves and we need to stop Kari Lake before this goes any further!
…and… end scene!
Lots of lawyers here, lemme’ know if I’m in trouble.
Vice News adds, “Trump’s Spokeswoman Calls For Arrests Over 2020 Election at QAnon Rally”, https://www.vice.com/en/article/akvmyp/liz-harrington-qanon-rally-trump
Former President Trump’s chief spokeswoman spoke to a QAnon-affiliated conference over the weekend, warning the audience that if the liberals she alleges stole the 2020 election aren’t thrown in jail, they’ll come after Trump supporters instead.
“It’s so important to have accountability and have that trust restored because otherwise you’re going to get more of it. There’s no accountability? Yep. They’re gonna start arresting political opponents. They’re gonna start throwing political dissidents in jail. They’re going to parade people and interrogate you for your free speech,” Trump spokeswoman Liz Harrington said in a lengthy speech.
“You think it’s gonna be better next time?” she continued. “You really think if there’s no arrests made from 2020, if there’s no real exposing of it and getting these people and holding them accountable, you really think they won’t do it again?”
When VICE News asked who specifically she meant should be arrested, Harrington didn’t name names[.]
Harrington wasn’t the only big-name MAGA Republican who spoke at the “Patriots Arise” conference in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, which was hosted by a pair of QAnon activists and deeply steeped in the language of right-wing Christian fundamentalism.
Other speakers included former Trump attorney Jenna Ellis, Trump-endorsed Maryland GOP gubernatorial candidate and Delegate Dan Cox, and Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate and state Sen. Doug Mastriano–and Michael Peroutka, a pro-secession Confederate sympathizer who is running as a Republican to be attorney general of Maryland.
Mastriano gave a long speech that argued that America is a Christian nation, mocked what he called “this myth of the separation of church and state,” and promised the audience that he and they are “taking our country back.”
“We’re going to win on May 17 [Pennsylvania’s primary date], with your help. And in November we’re going to take our state back. My god will make it so,” Mastriano promised, to cheers from the crowd.
After his speech, Mastriano was awarded a “Sword of David” by the convention’s co-hosts, podcasters and QAnon conspiracy theorists Allen and Francine Fosdick, whose website used to feature the QAnon slogan WWG1WGA (“Where we go one, we go all”).
“Where’s Goliath?” Mastriano said with a laugh as he raised the sword.
Mastriano’s running mate for lieutenant governor, Teddy Daniels, also spoke at the conference, warning the audience that “we are at war in this country, we are losing this country.” He also said that the only way to be civil with liberals is after “we beat the crap out of them.”
“We will be civil on our terms, not theirs,” he said.
Michael Peroutka, who is running as a Republican to be attorney general of Maryland, also spoke on the first day of the conference. He has advocated for the South to secede to form a Christian nation and has close ties with former Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore. He also spent years on the board of the pro-secession League of the South, though he left the organization before it served as one of the main organizers for the Charlottesville “Unite the Right” rally.
Peroutka’s weekend speech was tame by comparison: He simply called for the impeachment of Maryland Republican Gov. Larry Hogan over Hogan’s COVID-19 policies.
